Josh on Julianna, Alicia, Will and AW.

Will and Alicia [played by Juliana Margulies] are very close and went to Georgetown Law School together, and there is a real history there and that is a big part of obviously why she is coming to this firm. Will is an incredibly successful lawyer in Chicago; I think he is really good at what he does. I think he really enjoys living his life. He is methodical, he is loyal, he strikes me as someone who takes what he does very seriously but also tries to have a good time. He likes the Cubs, not the White Sox (laughs). He's a huge Bears fan, and I think he has a secret shrine to Michael Jordon in his living room but no one knows about it (laughs). When you work on a character, they always have to have secrets, you know?

There’s a sense of “I love these two people together, and there’s so many reasons why right now they shouldn’t be together as she works out her relationship with her husband, and she has two kids, and Will’s her boss.” And yet there is this sort of pull and connection between them that has some sort of tragic components to it. It’s an all star cast – had you worked with the supporting actors (Noth, Baranski etc) before?
Josh Charles, I have known forever, and I actually had suggested him for the role.

I was fascinated by the episode where Alicia shares an intense kiss with her superior at the law firm, who happens to be her old law-school boyfriend. She then flees and goes home and initiates sex with her husband. What did you think about that scene?
Alicia's husband has cheated on her, she hasn't been touched in nine months, and she essentially uses her husband as a tool to satisfy herself. It was a bold choice for the writers and the show to include that sex scene in an aggressive and dominant way not often seen on network TV. And it was fun to play it that way.

Q: If you had to choose between Will and Peter, who would you choose?
JM: You know, I don’t know. Honestly, that’s a great question but it’s hard because you have to really look at it. Peter is the father of her children and when you see him with them, you can understand why she would choose him. On the other hand, Will is unbelievably dashing and handsome and in love with her as she is with him I think. So what do you sacrifice? I don’t know.

Annso: Episode 12. After they talk about/find out that Alicia didn't hear Will's second message.
house_stacy: Middle of the season-Episode 15. Maybe in a business trip (most likely in Georgetown )
kdimmick: Alicia starting it. Something along the lines of Alicia inquiring about Tammy or Will noticing Alicia has an issue with Tammy in which would cause him to go 'hold up, YOU turned me down!' She doesn't know what he's talking about....the 2nd message comes to light, Alicia is overwhelmed and just dives lips first into Will.
Srta_Parker:when Tammy says bye bye. I think Tammy will leave Will because of Alicia. She told him she will be with him until it´s boring so if Will shows some attraction to Alicia I don´t think Tammy stays.
carito: Kalinda somehow discovers the lost voicemail, shows it to Alicia, she confronts Will, he tells her what he feels but she doesn't react, so he storms out of the office and she snaps out of it and runs after him
Lily_Marie: I don't think the next kiss will have anything to do with the voicemail. It'll probably be sometime during the seond half of the season, around episode 17 maybe. It will be because of a case. And I'm hoping for an argument, a full blown verbal fight which gets a little personal. And she kisses him and then runs off again leaving Will confused.
sarina_florrick:I'm predicting it happens in the episode that has Canning in it (14?), the case will make Alicia realize she should follow her heart in love things and she'll kiss Will but he'll go like 'I've moved on' and my little shipper heart will be broken again
dentyne.ice:I would guess that it will probably be in the office, maybe when one of them or both experiences an emotional case or hardship in their life and their feelings will just come out like they did last time.

I mean, i could see Will was hearting , he could bearly talk to Alicia or look her in the eye but for Alicia, apart from a small convo with Kalinda 'he said he wants to drop it" thing + her reaction to Wills coldness, she kind of got back to her usall self soon enoughf...but youre right that if shes asking him about it after nine month, even after shes "back" with Peter, Will must mean a lot to her , edmiting it or not...

If I were in her position, my first thought would not be "Eli must've deleted it", but then again I never think ill of anybody.


When she learned there was another voice mail in which Will "spilled his heart", she was so overwhelmed that she hasn't even thought about how it could've happened.
And maybe afterwards, reflecting on the whole thing, she just assumed her phone or Will's phone wasn't working properly. I don't know if it makes any sense, but that would be my first thought in such a situation: I know nothing about technology and if something strange happens with my phone or my computer, I always thing something imponderable must've happened to it.
I wouldn't even bother calling the phone company, because the result is always the same: she didn't hear it and what matters now is talking about it with Will.



About next week, for me the important thing right now is Will learning that Alicia didn't ignore him. I don't think there will be substantial changes in how things are between them, but knowing will make all the difference in the world in Will's mind. Maybe he won't do anything about it for now, but he will not be able to just ignore it and pretend he's moved on.

As for the game, I go with #5 again. I like that scene, but Crash already has its "working late at night" scene.
By the way #9 (I call it the "Peter didn't make bail" scene) is probably my absolute favourite W/A scene, together with #14.

I agree. I think that she thought that was a problem with the phone company too.

Exactly. He has to know that she doesn't received the second VM, because is a important thing. And he has to know that she has feelins for him. She really likes him deeply
