What I wanted to say was more on how it could be difficult - with a lot of new characters and some important relationships to develops - to extend to three the stories while two seems just the right measure. So Alicia/Bond or Will/Bond or Alicia/Kalinda.

But then they're going to have tons of characters to fit into 42 minutes so it makes sense there are going to be more threesome than twosomes or we'll hardly get to see some of the regulars/recurring!

That's what I was thinking too. It's just maths. If they want to cram all those characters plus the guests in each episode, there HAS to be some threesome going on. Who will get the most association is yet to be seen.

In season one the only relationship that resembles a thresome was K/P/G (and this is reflected also in our threads). A/W/K is not really a thresome - beside speculations - we have A/W or A/K but really W/K is just immagination. And you need to exclude all family ties or just working together, because it takes more that share the same office to have a common storyline.
Based on what we know about next season, we'll have a lot of "couple", maybe playing together for a while but I still don't have any indication of more numerous relations.

Almost all the new characters will be gone by end of season, maybe Eli will leave too and Chris is not a sure thing. If they wanted to develop some good and interesting relationships they'd better do that among the regulars/recurring to avoid dropping characters already entangled in the main story.

Heh I think they're all pretty much only in my mind, and really just for fun (good healthy fun ) but yeah I meant it in loosely like two-some. Just a bunch of people connected by something.

I'm not sure about that. Sometimes working with people under strained circumstances can form a bond, especially if there are also values shared or personality traits.

I agree and so far we have a lot of pairs in the LG, maybe thing will change in season two but I suppose we need to wait at least a bunch of episodes to see if and where these bonds are forming.
I'm still convinced that they are going to play with a lot of couples - and I'm not extremely happy.
