George left the show in season 5 and Julianna in season 6. Long story short, Doug left to Seattle, Carol discovered she was pregnant, she had twin girls, had "something" with Luka, realized Doug was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with and left for Seattle to be with him.

I started watching because it was new but sooner my only interest was Doug and later Doug and Carol. They were the classic doomed lovers that most of the times didn't end up together. They did

Yea I stopped watching after 5, I have been trying S6 but I just cannot finish it. I am probably gonna try to catch that last epi of D/C though
