I do think now that it's the last season Alicia will run for office and Peter will be in the corner as the good husband. It's not ideal but it's an ending I see

Unfortunately I wish that had anything to do with characters and not with the total lack of ability of the writers to go anywhere else with this than just dragging their feet on it.

She's been processing a long queue of uninteresting love interests so you would think she's moving on but never for real

Exactly because to me is not about character anymore and is very easy to tell.

Yup. Their new show is all they care about, they haven't written an episode of TGW since 701. Thats sad.
