Again not much happened in this ep but it was nice to see all 4 together in one place. Obviously both Luke & Jessica are not familiar with The Hand. The only thing that makes it believable is the fact that both Danny & Matt have encountered them.

Funny moment with Matt using Jessica's scarf and doing his vigilante side, only to reveal his face later on to Luke & Danny. Obviously, Matt doesn't trust Stick. Those two have major issues as we've already seen on DD.

I thought it was also believable that Jessica didn't believe it at first and walked away (but later on came back). Luke has always been a good guy and more open to things, has a belief in people. Jessica isn't like that.

Overall this was an okay episode but shows the dynamics of the team plus Stick always having some of the best lines.

I loved how Matt just didn't wanna give Jess' scarf back

but it was also sad cause he was in denial the whole time, that he couldn't be a part of that cause he wanted to leave this part of his life behind for him to be able to heal

also when he was talking to Stick about Elektra

that was so heartbreaking. when he said he couldn't even hear her heartbeat so it took time for him to recognize her

The moment he found out that Elektra was involved, he definitely felt torn about being a vigilante again.

YESSSSSSSSS. OMG. I just re-watched the DD S2 finale and Matt said "The Hand's ninjas can mask their heartbeats. Yours is always loud and clear." and I ended up crying again. I like torturing myself.

I can see that

so far I haven't had the strength to rewatch DD S2 yet cause the finale hurt too much. and since we're left in the dark now even more after TD finale which didn't hurt much less, I don't know

I hope we hear about Elektra's current whereabouts in the next months to give me some comfort and then I'll do it

I'm hoping we'll get some DD S3 news soon as I heard they'll start shooting for that later this year so I'll try and keep an eye out.

I loved seeing DD's internal conflict of being a vigilante.

It's always been a part of him.

I'd like to believe he stopped being a vigilante when Elektra died. He was having trouble getting back in the game again but when he found out that Elektra is alive, he's like "Nope, I'm going back in again."

I don’t wanna be a part of this. If you ask me, you already are. You need to put it all on the table. Take off the mask.

he totally did all that

losing Elektra was just too much for him, he couldn't keep on being DD. his confession at the church proves it too. he's incomplete without her and after all that's happened even his role as a vigilante wouldn't have been the same

Yes, glad you mentioned the confession at church too.

I remember my friend was complaining because Matt wasn't a vigilante but then he easily came back to being one too and I told my friend "I think you failed to see the reason why he quit" in the first place.

That's why I wasn't ready for that flashback in episode 5... it felt like a dream for me, their happier times I mean.
