Netflix has started counting down to the The Defenders, with the debut of Season 1 just a week away. Yes, in just a few more days, the four main heroes of Marvel’s street-level universe will come together to tackle one big threat. With Alexandra stepping out of the shadows as the possible leader of The Hand, the Defenders will need to pull together all of their allies. While we know the full team won’t meet up in the first episode, it won’t be long until they join forces.

Eventually, The Defenders will not only unite Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, but at least one scene will feature the entire Marvel Netflix cast joined together. From hero-in-training Hellcat to an all-new evil version of Elektra, a number of Marvel’s most popular characters will soon be together on the small screen. Promotion has been kicking into high gear the past few weeks as the show’s release date approaches, and now Netflix has officially started the countdown.

For a number of Netflix subscribers, there’s now a countdown clock for the release of the show. While it doesn’t appear to be available for everyone, it’s likely it will appear on the streaming service this weekend. A Reddit user, who was able to grab a shot of the countdown clock, also indicated that new promos were available for the show. Again, this may vary from user to user at this point.
