I give the actress props for this actually because I felt like she was too much like her father. It freaked me out a bit.
 Cause at first Ward just felt like a high school bully (I knew he couldn't be the actual villain on the season.) and as the season continued I saw more and more of Ward being a victim just trying to protect his sister, while in the end, his sister was just like his father.  I love the writers went that direction, cause I was really worried they were going to go with a love triangle with family drama but they didn't.  |

I felt that vibe from Joy as well. It was smart on the writers for sure, turning the tables from Ward being more of a victim in all this and Joy being more daddy's girl. Gives me shivers to think what all she will do in Iron Fist S2.
