Hubby prefers it when we're at my parents' though, because he and the kids go hunting that evening and the woods they hunt in are about 10 minutes from my parents'. __________________

I have Halloween ringtones for my phone and a bunch of Christmas ones, but I can't think of any Thanksgiving related songs.

1. Do you think Ephram/Amy would spend Thanksgiving yearly at either the Browns or Abbott's or would they ever have a Thanksgiving on their own?
I assume they will alternate between gathering at Abbott's house or Brown's house. I agree with Taryn that afterwards Amy and Ephram will spend also time on their own as young happy couple. 2. Where do you think more Thanksgiving's would take place or would it be about even? Browns or Abbott's? I think that each year they will alternate. Either Abbotts will go to the Browns for one big happy Thanksgiving or the other way around. 3. Who do you think would make a better meal: Rose or Nina? Even though it seems plausible that a few members from both families would help make different stuff. Rose indeed seems to be the better one in preparing the turkey while Nina would indeed provide good pies and cookies and all that stuff. 4. When the football games come on, which members of the Brown and Abbott clan would be viewing the games? Yeah Amy, Bright, Delia would be the interested ones in sport. I think that Ephram and Hannah would be the least interested (they might even comment how uninterested they are). Rose and Andy would be neutral. 5. Who out of the Brown and Abbott clan would most likely hit Black Friday? Amy and Hannah most probably. Maybe Rose and Nina would join them too. __________________

Thanksgiving will mostly be the same this year for us. The last 4-5 years have been at my parents' house. Before, it was at a family friend's place. So, there will be at least 10 or 11 (My parents, me, three of my sisters, 2 out of 6 nieces, 1 brother in law and one of my niece's boyfriend) of us there actually eating, and another two (another niece and her boyfriend) who will be dropping by for some of the goodies laying around before they go to another house for dinner. Lots of food and snacks followed by games galore. Me and my dad always spend the next day putting up Christmas lights for two of my sisters.

This looks and sounds like a yummy side dish for Thanksgiving....
Corn Casserole 1 (15oz) can whole kernel corn, drained 1 (15oz) can cream-style corn 1 package Jiffy corn muffin mix (8 oz.) 1 cup sour cream 1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or your favorite Preheat oven to 350 degrees. mix all ingredients, minus the cheese, together and pour into a greased baking dish. After the casserole has baked for 45 minutes, or is set in the middle and golden brown, sprinkle with cheddar and put it back in the oven. Let the cheese melt, take the casserole out and enjoy this ridiculously buttery dish. |

Love all the answers, you guys and comments in general!
Haha I love that tray! Betty, is that corn thingy the same as corn souffle? My Grandma made a killer corn souffle. It was so delicious. |

I do have the recipe but not on me since I'm out of town. I don't think my Grandma used sour cream in hers. I don't think stouffers does either. |
