The Miracle of Everwood was painful for me to watch. With Colin going all crazy, you know.
I remember thinking maybe there'd be a Ephram/Kate thing going on when they were having the promos for the episode Moonlight Sonata. Hee. __________________

Right with you, Gaby! Colin was tough to watch. I get that he was all screwed up due to the side effects but it didn't stop me from being uncomfortable while watching it go down.
And yes, I also thought they might go with Ephram/Kate as well! I'll come back with more thoughts once I watch the episodes again. |

I had the flu this week so I've been out for the count But finally am feeling better, so watched more episodes today!
119: Colin's flip out at school was so hard to watch. The entire episode was hard to watch. I did love that Ephram was actually the only one not sugar coating things with Colin and trying to make him see the truth. I felt really sad for Colin after he had punched Bright and realized what he had done. He knows in his gut that he's not doing well and it's so sad to see. Amy just pisses me off how she just blindly follows Colin through everything he's doing and makes excuses for him when she is probably smart enough to realize that something is wrong. When she confronted Ephram I wanted to smack her. I did love when she said that Ephram "told her" not to give up on Colin. Okay Amy so had Ephram not stepped back would you be with Colin right now? What exactly are you admitting? 120: This one wasn't as interesting to me, for some reason I had a hard time paying attention to it. "Sucks for her, cool for you. Such is life" That's a great quote! But I sort of agree, I have dancers that are technically great but they have no emotion when they dance and we often give solos to the better "performers" so I understood his decision. However when we saw the teacher having an affair with the student... icky! I knew there was something off about Matthew. Amy manipulating her grandma to try to see Colin was so not cool. God, I forget what it was like being a teenager sometimes lol. But seeing them bond at the end was great and i love that she let Amy see Ephram's recital. Finishing season 1 next week! __________________

Sucks about the flu. It seems like everyone is dropping like flies around me and I haven't gotten sick yet. I got a cold a few months back but nothing to even comment on, it went away rather quickly. But I haven't had any sort of flu with a high fever or G.I. bug just yet. My sister just had a bad G.I. bug yesterday. I feel like a ticking timebomb and in no time I'm going to be sick. I completely agree about Amy and it's tough for me to say that because she's my favorite character. But she was just so clueless and in denial during this time. You make a good point that Ephram did tell her she had to be there for Colin. I believe in Vegetative State if Ephram would have said the word, Amy would have dropped Colin completely. That's what's so interesting. Her connection and romantic feelings for Ephram were so strong, she was willing to get out of that vicious cycle of anxiety of having to be loyal to Colin. But then when Ephram said they couldn't be together romantically and she had to be there for Colin, it's like she went back into that mode again and was even more determined to essentially be Colin's bodyguard. Yes in the next episode, Amy was even manipulating Edna which sucked due to her Colin obsession. They did make up nicely though at the end. I couldn't stand Matthew. Good catch picking up on that right away. Ephram seeing Amy's recital was the best. |

OMG same, everyone here is getting sick too, half of the dance team that I coach was out sick and we had to cancel like 3 practices because we were all getting it. BLECK.
I hope you dont get sick. I think mine was either a sinus infection or a really bad cold but I def. had flu symptoms. Just felt shaky and had the chills. The absolute WORST throat pain Ive ever had in my life, and the worst water-up-the-nose feeling. And one morning I woke up feeling like i'd been punched 3 times my face hurt so bad. UGH, I am so glad the worst is over now and i have a few minor symptoms lingering. Quote:
I hated Matthew at first and thought he was a jerk and sort of creepy but then his speech to Andy had me wondering if maybe he wasnt that bad and just wanted to help Ephram get back into the music. But this episode reverted him back to the creep I thought he was. __________________

I don't know what it is about this year but everywhere has been hit hard with illnesses. It doesn't surprise me your dance team collectively got sick. It's just spreading like wildfire all over the schools/sports locker rooms, etc. Just a really nasty cold/flu season. Quote:
