Me too, Patricia. She's so smart. I've always wanted to know more about Nina's backstory. Like, how she became to be such a great parent. Did she just learn from experience? Did she learn from her mother? Because it doesn't seem like she had the kind of help that Andy got from her. And Carl certainly wasn't helping, heh. I'd probably guess that she learned all by herself, simply because it goes with her being so strong and independent.

sometimes it's better to learn on your own. it's helpful to have experienced ones there who have been through the rough times of a raising a child. but sometimes you are the best when you go with your gut. not all kids are different, ha, all kids are different. it seems that Nina raise her son all by the way Sam acted about missing his dad.

But go Andy for sticking up for Nina so early in their friendship/relationship to go against the entire school. But Andy has always been the one to take charge, especially when treating of medicine is involved

Good point about people learning from going with their gut. Totally worked with Nina. Would have been an epic fail for Andy, heh. He didn't trust his own instincts and had to relearn how to parent, so it made sense that he needed way more help, while Nina didn't really need as much.

Ha! Yes. Very true. Oh, goodness, can you imagine Sam as a 16 year old?? The thought is frightening!

I honestly can't imagine Sam as a teenager. He'd be really awkward. Actually, he would either be really nerdy, or a total druggie, I think. I don't know if I can imagine him just being one of the "normal" people. He's either going to be at one extreme or another for me.

I vote for nerd. I'm assuming that Andy will be instrumental in that kids growing up. And Andy has learned from his mistakes after moving to Everwood. I'm voting book nerd...maybe even doctor.

Sam as a doctor. Woah. That's going to blow my mind, Patricia

Oh, for sure. I'm just not sure how safe I would feel as a patient knowing what I know about that kid.

that tells me I'm in for quite a story when I go through future episodes of Everwood.

Actually, it's probably S1 that most scares me. "Vegetative State" alone. OH, how I love Delia being exhausted and frustrated with that kid, hee. I believe in one episode, Amy or Nina had said that Amy babysat for Sam. I would pay good money to see a deleted scene of Amy trying to control that kid, because it would be comedy gold!

Amy is so calm most of the time. Be funny to see her just lose it
