I’m unsure. I don’t know what to think. I believe he’s a good coach but at the same time I’m unsure of how things are going behind closed doors.

You?

I'm not really sure either, wait to see how it plays out during the season

We've never been very wise in our player selection.

The one thing I've noticed though is how vocal some of the players are... we've had some of that the past year or two. Very vocal, even getting into trouble some. Is this something you hold Tomlin accountable for?

This is the position we've had some depth. We've had many players in the EPL starting at an elite level. I'd imagine we can find a better option around Europe or MLS. Lame.

NHL Finals and why I don’t want Vegas to win

Believe it or not, I’m pulling for the Washington Capitals. I have a reason for going there and it has zero to do with wanting the Washington Capitals to win because I can’t stand them.

I feel that it is in the best interest of hockey for the Capitals to win and not the Golden Knights. Why? If Vegas wins it is probably the most remarkable story in NHL history. I get it. However, what will happen to the fanbase in the years to come? Anything short of another Stanley Cup will not be good enough. There is such a thing as being rewarded too quickly and that is precisely what will happen if the fanbase gets a Stanley Cup this quickly. Thus, it is in the best interest of hockey that the Washington Capitals win it. Vegas fans will be energized and all the more will want their team back in position to officially win it all. They will be hungry. They win it all this year, they’ll sit on top of a throne and expect it to happen again and again. Then you lose fans. I am sure Vegas is getting some fans all around the country. But the Vegas natives obviously don’t know much about hockey. So you need to keep them engaged or else they’re just going to enjoy their wonderful casinos and nightlife instead of wasting time watching hockey.

So yes, it is so much better for them to have a taste but to not quite win it all just yet.

Let's see who they play against France. It had better not be Hamid. We'll have enough problems with that game.

You make some good points. A Golden Knights victory would spoil the fans and it would be unlikely that the team would be in that position again (the following year).

I should be around. I'll probably wish I wasn't!

The last time I spoke to him he was rooting for the Golden Knights. He just likes the idea that these players who probably no one else wanted formed a new team and they are playing for the Stanley Cup. It's kind of a feel good story.
