I hope not. Baker and the rest of this new look Browns deserve a good coach leading the charge.
Hue's too horrible of an coach for Mayfield to make him look good right away

I actually think Mayfield is so good he might make Hue look good as a result.

I’m not too happy with Ben’s comments:

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger surprised Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Mason Rudolph

He’s older, had injuries, and has hinted at retirement in the past.

How dare the Steelers prepare for the future. Lol

I do agree this time lol, plus the chances he actually plays well for 5 years is low at best.

Right!

I’m concerned because he could be a sucky mentor now.

I just mean Mayfield is a winner. I honestly think he’s stealing the job from Tyrod pretty quickly. His fast progress will be because of who he is, watching and learning quickly, great talent and partially due to Haley. Then Hue will get undeserved credit too.

I'm concerned about that too, but Rudolph had the right attitude about that though.

Definitely. Maybe this will make Rudolph even tougher and more determined behind the scenes.

I almost feel like Ben’s ego is bruised. It’s weird. Rudolph can sit for a 2-3 years. It’s to everyone’s benefit that he sits and learns for as many years as possible! If Ben cared about the future of the Steelers he’d welcome Rudolph and embrace the mentor role knowing the team will be left in good hands when he retires and he was directly responsible for it. Nope it’s just about me me me with him right now.

Plus he admitted it wasn't Ben's job to teach him, it was his to learn.

As long as he doesn't treat Rudolph the way Favre did Rodgers, I should put up with his comments.
