I wasn’t able to see the game, but it looks like they killed Alabama.

He seems to be the down to earth type to not make it difficult either.

Buffalo's tourney run is coming to an end. Took out #1 Arizona but Kentucky was too much for them today.

That's what March Madness is all about. Down to the seconds of an upset!

I was thinking about this a few minutes ago....

So teams like Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, all the greats you know weren't always so great. Do any of you see a tide turning as far as number 1 basketball teams go? What I mean is, is there a revolution starting of different schools rising from the ranks to be the new number ones?

Ohio State didn’t have it tonight. They are young so didn’t expect a ton. But it would’ve been nice at least making to the sweet sixteen.

Right?! The beauty of this classic tourney is all the upsets. They are so fun and exciting!

To answer your question... there’s always teams who can get good and sneak on in there. But this sport heavily involves recruiting. As a result schools from major conferences with big names are always going to get top recruits. So the common names like Duke and Kentucky will always get the big players. However, I still think you're right and different schools are finding ways to enter that elite group of teams. They might not get the five star recruits but with excellent coaching, team chemistry, good all around players there are teams that can get in there and I do believe more teams will be up there. I just don't think those elite teams will ever leave the elite class. They might be "down" one year or two... for example, Kentucky is having a down year but as you can see, they are still good and in the tournament. Their down year is still advancing, lol. When they are having an elite year they are basically untouchable.

Maybe it can happen, that Duke and NC aren't the only ones people think of when they look at who they think is a powerhouse team. I love NC though, I'm just saying lol
