It’s hilarious to notice culture...

USA Hamlin looks so smiley and content. German Huefner looks pissed when supposedly content, lol.

I love this sport. US women (especially Erin Hamlin) have a chance to medal.

Snowboarding really amazes me. I don't understand how these athletes can do all those tricks. How do you even try that for the first time? I guess you work your way up to a super high, complicated one but you still have to try it once for the first time and hope you don't get seriously injured.

While that does impress me, I've always wondered what crazy person decided to do luge or skeleton the first time.

That’s so true. No clue how Olympic athletes decide to master these sports, let alone get started.

I can’t remember the specific American male Luge athlete, but he mentioned his father built him a Luge track in their backyard. I guess he got started that way, lol.

Kind of proof that there's bigger meaning to why we are here and how many know what their destiny is very early on. Otherwise his father wouldn’t have built his son a Luge track just for kicks. Intuitively he knew his son was destined for great things.

But yes, it is interesting learning about their complete stories and how they got started.
