Edith Piaf was sort of France's version of Judy Garland. She was a wonderful singer but she had a lot of issues with alcohol and drugs and she died young. Her most famous song was La Vie En Rose.

Nice music. For whatever reason her voice doesn't resonate with me (it might be culture though, it's too French for my taste) even if I can see why she was so talented. Too bad her career/life was cut short due to chemical dependency.

I loved Judy Garland as an actress and singer. She died way too young, too.

So much talent and art for both women.

So...let's see...

I've been in an Olympics haze. I watched the men's and women's biathlon, two mixed doubles curling matches, a variety of short form and long form speed skating, slopestyle snowboarding, normal hill ski jumping, and the entire USA vs Finland women's hockey. Oh, and I watched most of the men's luge where Chris Mazder made history.

It's been an awesome 12 hours or so.

I'll definitely try to be here more. I'm watching cross country now because it's all that's on.

Oh, according to the Olympics TV Experience, NBCSN is re-airing the hockey game from 3-5.

Sweet! I watched most of it last night but was half asleep. I might rewatch.

How does your schedule look this week? You work day hours, right? So you'll be home in time for live action?
