What's awesome is Philadelphia essentially helped Pittsburgh and they hate doing that in any of their sports. So there was a catch to their Super Bowl win even if they'd gladly take it, haha.

I'm sure they aren't complaining about that catch right now

LOL I just hope those trashy fans (not all Philly fans are like that, so the select group) learn to maybe not be so trashy in the future. They won so hopefully they show class and respect. I guess that's probably too much to ask but maybe winning will tone down the filth some.

Not trying to take anything away from Philly but a key to the game was clearly Malcolm Butler not playing (only on special teams briefly). That is insanity. Butler, who is their best CB? Looks like the supposed best coach to ever coach in the NFL royally screwed up. Bill Belichick tried to outsmart himself. They say it was personal, there was no injury, illness was fine. How do you not play him?

Yes, we shouldn't hold our breath because we'll turn blue.

Yeah, I didn't get the logic behind that move at all.

I really wonder what the motivation was behind the move. Bill B doesn't make decisions on the fly without thinking about them intensely. There has to be a reason why he didn't go there. Injury and illness were not one of them. This absolutely allowed Philly to move the ball. Granted, NE's defense has been swiss cheese-like off and on all season long so it's not like this was the Vikings defense (which picked the wrong moment against Philly to self destruct in a fluke way) that we know, along with Jacksonville, is the best in the NFL. New England defense has been a couple pegs below those two top defenses all year long. Which is why all the more they needed him in there. You can take a top defensive player out of the Minnesota and Jacksonville line ups and make up for it. You can't do that with New England so Bill's move was costly and he knows it.
