Why on earth didn't Arena put him in earlier in the T&T game? Seriously, Dempsey has a nose for the net. I don't get why he was saved for limited minutes. Ridiculous.

I’m sure the kneeling issue is going to come up in these future NFL games, but I sort of feel like it’s losing its impact. One thing I’ve noticed on Social Media is that everyone focuses on the latest negative “trend” or topic and then those topics fade away as everyone goes on to the next negative topic to discuss. Even the Harvey Weinstein scandal is fading now, and my fear is that Hollywood will go back to business as usual once the furor goes away. I feel that men in positions of power in Hollywood will always take advantage of young women who’ll do anything to be a “star” and I also wonder if all the protests that the NFL players are doing will make any real difference. I also feel that the NFL players kneeling issue would have already faded away if Trump hadn’t shot off his big ignorant mouth. It’s all so fleeting and superficial, and nothing seems to “stick.”

If this would be better in the OT3 Thread, just let me know and I'll move it to there. Thanks.

This is fine where it is, and I totally agree! If only Trump had kept his big mouth...(which is attached to his big head) shut!!

I agree with everything you said, Jerry. I know Corey Feldman actually named one of his predators. I was shocked. I hope this continues to get talked about but I'm afraid just like you, it is fizzling out. I also agree about the kneeling. The Harvey Weinstein scandal should never go away, while the millionaire NFL players using an NFL platform should have gone away a while ago. There are better ways to tackle very important issues. It was fading and like you said, Trump made it worse. Social Media is a joke really when it's all said and done.

I truly believed he screwed up with Dempsey. Initially I thought he was just slowly getting him back into the groove since he was still getting fit again after the time off due to the heart scare. I figured he was nursing him along right back into the starting line up. I had no idea all along he was going to sub him. I think it was a major mistake.

I completely agree with you Michelle but the sad joke is most people seem to get their "news" from Social Media, and there are so many websites out their that skew the news to support either a Left Wing or a Right Wing stance.
