Fan of Everwood since: I’m a latecomer as I missed the original network screening. I wish I had known sooner, but I’m so glad I found it. 3 weeks ago I started watching S1.

Favorite Everwood Character: Amy, Harold, Nina… Hey!! So far I love them all.

I love Everwood because: So many reasons. The writing and acting is exceptional and I love John Beasley’s / Irv’s narration.
Each episode has touched me in a real way. I laugh, I cry and most of all this show re-enforces the value relationships, and how we deal with them, rightly or wrongly.
I’ve only seen S1 and I’m impressed with the manner in which social issues are dealt with in non preachy or judgmental way.
I came across a post while reading this thread and it helps sums up how I feel.

Other shows addiction: The only other addiction was Roswell. I also loved: My So-Called Life. Shows I really like: ..The Office (US). Veronica Mars, Friday Night Lights, Lost, Survivor, Weeds, West Wing, The X-Files and growing up I loved Seinfeld, still do and I finally got around to watching my sisters Dawson’s Creek dvds.

What you need to know about me: I’m a late finisher with my studies due to several sporting injuries some years back. In between work I’m endeavoring to finish my Economics degree. I still love sport and spend far too much time in front of the TV.

Uh oh, we've got another male Everwood crier, hee. I think us guys here bawl more than the ladies here! We're breaking stereotypes with this show. There's just something about Everwood that turns me into a blubbering baby.

And as far as spending too much time infront of the TV, with shows like Lost (once season five starts, we'll have some good discussions of that going on in the OT TV thread) and Seinfeld and now Everwood too, it's not such a bad thing, hee.

Well-said. Absolutely. It's hard to pin this show down to one label, because it really does so much so well. I like Treat Williams' idea of what to call it: "A great story".
