Hi, I'm new

Name: Jenny
Location: Florida, USA
Age: 18
Fan of Everwood since: Only a few weeks A friend recommended the show to me and I watched all seasons in a marathon and now I'm addicted to it!
Favorite Everwood Character: Ephram
I love Everwood because: It's different and unique and the characters have a lot of depth
Other shows addiction: Skins, Moonlight, House, Queer as Folk, Veronica Mars. I like Harry Potter, too, but I guess that doesn't cound as a show
Ships (Everwood and other shows):
Everwood: Ephram/Amy, Ephram/Kyle and Amy/Tommy
Skins: Tony/Maxxie, Sid/Michelle
Moonlight: Mick/Beth, Mick/Coraline, Mick/Josef
House: House/Cuddy
Queer as Folk: Brian/Justin
Harry Potter: Bellatrix/Lucius
What you need to know about me: Nothing, I think.

Welcome to the board, Jenny! Every episode in a few weeks? Now that's a fan! Awesome! Thank your friend big time.

We've got a big Harry Potter contingent here, so it might not count as a show, but you're in good company.

Exactly And it's just so different from anything else I've seen. Very refreshing. I wish I had known about it sooner.

It really is different. At the time, and even now. A lot of critics still talk about the show because it was so unique. Not afraid to show heart, to show flaws, to do things differently than most shows. Refreshing is a good way to put it.

Had you heard anything about the show before it was recommended to you?

I knew what it was about and I might have seen a few scenes here and there, but always out of context, so it never caught my attention too much. Which was why I was a bit hesitant to watch it at first, but I'm so glad I did.

Right. I think a lot of people are like this, and I'm hoping once the episodes go online in two days, people are able to find it and become addicted and a big fan just like you!

If you like the show enough, I would recommend checking out the one and only DVD set. It's pretty cheap on amazon, I believe, or even just from Netflix. It's got some really great commentaries and you get the hear the story of how the show was created and all that. Blatant advertising for the DVD rules!

The episodes will be available online? Where, iTunes?

The episodes will be on thewb.com which we're all very excited about, although some of us aren't in America, so can't see it. Even then, though, it's great for the show so new fans can find it and become as obsessed as we are! It deserves to have so many fans and be known so much more than it is, it really does.

ITunes would be great too! Ooh, I hope they end up doing that. We've also got word that the second DVD is coming out too, so you've joined the fanbase right when we finally get some good news and we're not all mopey and depressed. It's about the first slate of good news this show has got since, uh, the first season maybe? Heh.

Oh that's really cool

iTunes is great for stuff like that because people all over the world can buy it an it's usually really cheap. A lot of new shows are going on that route.

I'm glad to know I have such good timing

Fan of Everwood since: pilot
Favorite Everwood Character: originally Ephram, later Bright and Amy
I love Everwood because: I got sucked into to the great angsty Ephram drama.
Other shows addiction: Friday Night Lights
Ships (Everwood and other shows): Amy/Ephram, Andy/Nina
What you need to know about me: I am still pissed about Everwood unfair death in favor of 7th Heaven, and now I watch BH's new show on ABC Family just to laugh at how stupid it is. I think everyone should. laughter eases the pain.

I still don't get how 7th Heaven got in over us. That show is our curse, I swear.

How did you find the show originally? And how did you find FanForum/this board?

Right. I hope the WB takes advantage of it. I know the episodes will be for free on thewb.com version, but I imagine there will be limits placed on the episodes. I think with iTunes (Canada here, we can only get so many shows), you buy it, and you can watch it whenever you want? That's something everyone should be able to do. iTunes and the DVDs, and I think we'd have it pretty much made!
