Okay, I will! Have to figure out when I can check it out in the next day or so. I know I’ll figure out very quickly if it’s best to wait until Everwood rewatch is over in 12 weeks or can do both.

Yep. Only problem is memorizing the names of the characters and how to pronounce them in German. For that your might need notes. There are a lot of characters to remember. And problem is all are related to the story in some way. For that feel free to ask me.

Yeah you can do now sort of tryout for the dubbing and getting used to the language and check the story. You will also know how much time and energy you need to dedicate to it.

Sounds good. Going to watch when it’s quiet tonight and go from there. My gut feeling tells me I’m going to love it but juggling both Everwood and Dark will give this Capricorn an aneurysm trying to fully concentrate on both at the same time but we’ll see. Hopefully I am wrong but given my Everwood process and then dealing with subs for the first time and keeping track of characters, pronunciation in German, a language I’ve never attempted to learn before will be too tough. I might be better off just waiting until Everwood has concluded. But I’m going to see after watching The Pilot. Angela said she’d watch with me tonight so I will report back how it goes!

Indeed it could be the case . I must admit I did not watch other shows while watching this one and I believe I finished it for 2-3 weeks. I was too engrossed in it to watch anything else.

Yep, exactly. I must admit I have forgotten almost everything about German but knowing it helped me to remember the characters names and to pronounce them correctly. And this does help. Now granted there are sites you can use to remember the names and their relations (like family trees). I did not need to use one, but some people seems to have needed it. So if you decide that you need this let me know and I will provide a link.

Cool. How do you do it when you watch things together? I bet that you will both enjoy it. Indeed report back on what you thought about the Pilot.

I watched Elite in spanish with english subs. It's much better without the bad english dubbing.

Have you watched all seasons? I stopped after Season 2 but have watched some scenes from Season 3. It got repetitive. And yep I did watch it in Spanish audio with English subtitles. Then again I do know Spanish so I was understanding quite a lot just by listening.

I stopped after s3. I lost interest. I do like watching different series in foreign languages. I knew a little from my hs spanish. But, I don't speak spanish. I used to speak german as a kid so I might be able to get bits and pieces of Dark.

If you are into sci-fi and mystery type of shows where there is ongoing mystery across multiple seasons you will enjoy Dark. Also you might enjoy the foreign element. And you might start remembering some German .

Yeah I have not had the opportunity to speak Spanish but I understand quite a lot and can comfortably watch Spanish series and understand 90 % without subtitles. Obviously with English subtitles I cover the remaining 10.
