OT4 Books #20: “A good book is the purest essence of a human soul.”

Hello! Welcome to the 20th Book Club!

In this thread, it's all about the books. If you have a current book you're
reading or a favorite book you'd love to discuss, it's all welcome. Any ideas
are encouraged and never discouraged. We value everyone's opinion.

So, if people want information on my characters, then they have to accept that I'm going to give them the information on the characters. And if they don't like it, that's the nature of fiction. You have to accept someone else's world because they made that world, so they probably know a little better than you do what goes on there. - J.K. Rowling

Right now, I'm reading a book called Banished Children of Eve, a book also written by my former teacher about New York City during the Civil War Draft Riots. I'm not sure what Teresa will be reading next.

Sounds very interesting. Long book? What would you say is Teresa's favorite type of book?

Yes, it's 600 Pages. I've read 150 pages in two days so far, which is an accomplishment for me!

Teresa likes mysteries the most. She also reads a lot of religious books, like books on the lives of the Saints.
