Betty, Riverdale is Berlanti's new show. It's based on the characters by Archie Comics. The Pilot airs on 1/26.

Me too!

You know a triangle's going to be involved obviously which is probably the only downer. But yes, it looks good actually and is getting great reviews! Apparently Berlanti's using a darker tone.

Wow...this is definitely a darker tone than what I remember. Why would Berlanti do that?

Good question. I don't really know. Maybe to make it his own. The good news is the Arrow showrunner who messes up everything he touches is not connected to Riverdale. Thus, it has a chance to succeed.

I was looking forward to the nostalgia of sock hops and 50's teens, but I will definitely give this version a try.

That would have been awesome.

Cool. We are done with PLL once the last 10 air in April so I guess this could be considered the replacement.

Also... if one or both of us hate it, dropping it is easy too.

If I lead a Hollywood lifestyle, unless my significant other was a high school sweetheart that you know stands a good chance to stick, I wouldn't even consider a long term relationship, let alone marriage, until I hit my 30s and even then, I would be extra careful. One could say easier said than done but I do that now in my 30s so it wouldn't be any different, lol. I just would realize all the more the potential for failure if I lead a Hollywood lifestyle.

I think its the scrutiny and the potential for partners to be jealous of one another cause they date within a small circle.

By the way I saw Beyond. It's hard to describe, but I loved the pilot. I think telekinesis is involved in some way. Basically the main guy holden has been in a coma for two years but has led some sort of telepathic life the whole time. He also seems to be able to move things. I can't wait to watch more.

Wow, it sounds fascinating. Are they going a spiritual route like his spirit is out of his body?
