Girl Meets World
3.12: Girl Meets Bear

Nice episode. I loved all the Riley/Lucas looks, the beautiful conversation, Lucas asking Riley out to the movies. They have so much romantic chemistry. They are adorable.

I loved Cory going nuts that Riley and Lucas were in her bedroom for a while, lol, and when he asked her out to the movie, lol. So cute.

I remember reading a spoiler that the fake triangle that never was was going to result in another couple. Immediately I thought of Maya and Zay. Sure enough, that's where it seems to be headed. I thought it was cool how Zay talked to Josh about it. I liked the someday being brought up again between Maya and Josh and the quick hand holding. Maya/Zay for short term works for me. It's obvious if this series continues on it's going to be Maya and Josh long term which is more than fine with me too.

I liked the Topanga/Farkle conversation. They had/have similar childhoods for sure and I love that they talked about it.

I knew Cory was going to give the necklace to Auggie. So cute and fitting.

One of my favorite parts was when Maya (in my mind, rather inappropriately) jumped on Lucas' back and he immediately told her to “get off you lost” hahaha. That was cruel but sorry, it's true, the fake triangle is over... Maya and Lucas never liked each other romantically. Riley and Lucas reunited and are together in a serious relationship. Maya shouldn't be jumping on top of Riley's boyfriend, thanks. I liked that Lucas told her to get off. That was awesome.

I can't wait for more couply moments between Riley and Lucas in the future episodes. I love this show!

The problem is that they tried to do the Originals story as a part of TVD and I think separating it was a good idea. I still find Klaus annoying and whinging, but that is something that is in the narrative then some artifical propping of his character. I like that he gets called out on his bs. The side characters are also interesting. Plus the show isn't centered on a love triangle so that helps a lot.

Enjoy it while it lasts because the love triangles are coming, sometimes more than one at a time.

I heard about them, but I don't care for any of the possible pairings so it won't bother me

Mich, to answer your question, yes its by a couple of the same showrunners.

Hopefully they learned from some of the mistakes on TVD. I have heard it's a better show. I have a friend who really enjoys it.

I'm still early in s1, but right now I'm enjoying the storytelling especially with all the mystical stuff.

I'm all about Hayley and Elijah, so the show is particularly annoying to me. Also, I often find Klaus tedious and irritating.

Klaus is the running joke. I love Elijah and like Hayley, but together hell no. The only couple I could have shipped was dead pretty early on cause Claire Holt left.

Really interesting. I love that music on the video. It's a shame people try to modernize when it's so good as the original.

The music in the video was a bit modernized too, but not to the point to not recognize it. They stayed true to the music and the song and made small tweaks to make it more appealing to young people and foreigners who are not aware of the Bulgarian folk music.

By the way, I could never play that song on the piano. So pretty.

I love the song as well. Yeah I wouldn't be able to play it either.

I was looking at your language in the title and in the comment section. I think it's safe to say I would have great difficulty learning the Bulgarian language.

The alphabet scares you . I bet that in a way seeing Cyrillic is like for me seeing Chinese . I don't get a thing . Bulgarian is not difficult language for us Bulgarians, but it's just different than English and the Roman languages. Not only because the alphabet, but also the grammar. It's a bit different.

It is great the triangle was never real. Especially having in mind that Maya and Riley are good friends. At least this is what I understood from your posts. Sorry if I'm wrong. How many episodes are left for Season 3?

So the Disney series I watched had its Season 1 finale Friday last week. I was right about the couple of the show because it ended with a kiss between them. They filmed the finale scene before knowing whether they will be renewed or not and I guess this is why they wanted to have satisfying end for the fans in case they get cancelled. Well they are renewed so no problems about that.

Anyway the couple that I thought was the main was indeed the one. And this is how they ended it:

It's cool that they decided to use the necklace because this is sort of how they started. In the Pilot Luna (the girl) falls in the pool with her skates and he saves her. However she loses the necklace in the pool. It's important for her because it's from her birth parents who died in a fire when she was 3 years old.

He finds the necklace and gives it back for her. So with this scene they kind of go back to their beginning. The other cool thing is that he tells her that she is Luna (which means moon in English), but brille como el Sol (which means that she carries the light of the sun in her). In reality her real name is Sol (sun), but when they adopted her they gave her the name Luna because of the necklace.

For people who didn't know how to skate before I think that they did good. Obviously the professional skaters can do better than this.

She's not gone forever.

We'll agree to disagree on Haylijah. I would love them together, and the show flirts with it a lot, but I don't trust Julie Plec to handle any couple that isn't Damon/Elena with any sort of delicacy, so I'd probably prefer that they didn't get together on the show and remain a theoretical or fan fiction couple.
