Me too!
Yes that picture is nice. Yes no one can convince me the groups and "outcomes" with all different scenarios wasn't something Russian officials didn't figure out ahead of time. It's a rotten shame the two best teams in the world already know they will not meet for Gold. This is the Olympics, and it's all about earning your worth. The US and Canada have done nothing but WIN. Why the frick would that translate to not being in completely different brackets as the 1 and 2 teams in the world? It's ridiculous. How many times over and over again does Russia continue to do suspect things over the years? Why were they even awarded the Winter Olympics?! Oh well... /rant |

Then again, crying is therapeutic. In a strange way maybe he did want to "let it out" even if it seems she produced more of a response. So, she cashed in on how he brought it up but maybe in the end that helped him. He needed to get those emotions out. Last edited by jediwands; 02-17-2014 at 05:02 AM |

Well, maybe she didn't totally know how to conduct the interview then.
He DID bring it up, not her and maybe she did feel he wanted to talk about it. Like I said, crying is therapeutic. You have to wonder why he not only brought it up but started choking up if he was uncomfortable talking about it. |

I am torn now on what I think after a second and third viewing. It could go either way. I think he definitely wanted to talk about his brother for sure.
Either way, it's very sad that he is in so much pain over his brother. You can feel the raw emotion. He was calmly, intellectually talking about the sport and then suddenly switches gears to his brother and bam, emotion. He is certainly dealing with a strong mourning process. So sad. USA women starting shortly. Looking forward to this one. |
