Exactly right... all about a planned speech that she did not write and was only following what her "people" forced her to do since she had no other alternative. She is probably thanking her lucky stars she was able to play doubles which she never should have been able to. She got away with that which is ridiculous.

Aw. Pancreatic cancer.. he fought it so intensely but in the end he lost the battle. So sorry to hear the news.

So sad about Patrick. My dad's dad lost his battle of pancan 11 years ago this past July.

Pancreatic cancer is the absolute worst...along with Ovarian cancer. So hard to detect until it's too late.

Absolutely. I guess the common denominator here with both cancers is the hormonal aspect to it. Ovarian, if you can detect it early, you can survive but like you said, they usually detect it when it's way too late. Pancreatic cancer is almost always deadly in the end. One of my uncles brothers had pancreatic cancer. The only symptom he had was mild indigestion for about a month, he went to the doctor and found out his liver enzymes were off, they did a cat scan and found the pancreatic cancer. He died 4 months later. It hits you fast, spreads just a fast (must be the hormones) and takes your life very quickly. Patrick survived longer than most do.

I remember Patrick in the movie called, "The Outsiders" with a ton of big time actors in that one. I loved that movie and he was absolutely fabulous in it.
