Spoiler:

From what I've read... Octavia has a difficult time (embracing darkness) for several episodes but it eventually gets better. So I think we're in for some annoying early season moments. I heard Bellamy doesn't forgive her either, at least initially... as he continues to bed Echo.

So my guess is it's slow going for Octavia but eventually we'll see improvement and appreciate that finally Jason will stop torturing the character. It's going to take some time.

As far as Echo/Becho and that disaster... I don't think it's ever getting better, at least this season.

I am either going to go your route and watch the premiere (apparently somehow the first two episodes were leaked a while back, many watched, I didn't, but now they are hidden again) or I'll just wait until things get better, at least with Octavia. If I can somehow stand the sight of Echo and the wooden actress that plays her (which would only mean other storylines/characters will satisfy me, like Octavia, Raven, Clarke) then I'll start watching.

I haven’t watched either. I plan on watching once I get some work done so either this afternoon or early evening.
