I probably shouldn't even be speculating though, because I haven't seen the show since the beginning of season 2, lol.

Olicity fans on Twitter are blaming Crisis as the reason why this is happening. They are not blaming Emily, it's all about blaming Crisis and Greg Berlanti for why Emily is not returning for a season 8...

I'm not sure. The flash forwards this season have killed a lot of my interest in the show already, I find that I have to force myself to watch each episode as it is, so I don't see how losing Felicity will improve the situation any.

This is why I hate getting too attached to characters/shows. I've been burned before. It just sucks. As viewers/fans, we are vulnerable the entire time. We get emotionally attached but to the actors/writers/producers/creators, it's a business, period. That business can change course in the blink of an eye. It's just not fair. You really do have to watch at your own risk. That is why I have no idea if I'm even watching The 100 live anymore. I can feel the baiting getting stronger and I don't want to set myself up. Arrow... I mean, the chances of this happening with EBR, I think most thought was such a low percentage you didn't have to worry. But it did happen which proves anything can happen.
