I hope Scott Wolf becomes a permanent addition to the cast as well. He's so refreshing and charming. He's got a great air about him.

Omg, that would rock if Scott became a full regular!

I loved the Jake/Nina last night. He is so excited about their relationship and she seems to be getting that way as well. They have such wonderful moments together. I really hope Jake sticks around.

Omg, how friggin' great were all the J/N moments tonight?! I loved him playing Twister w/Sam, oh so cute! And then at the end when he refused to let Nina break up w/him, & let her know he wasn't going anywhere, omg, so sweet! I adore them!

I loved them last night. I really love how sure he is of what he feels for her. They have a great relationship and of course its wonderful that Sam adores him.

At first I wasn't too enthusiastic about this pairing but the last couple of episodes have changed my mind. I see real chemistry between Nina & Jake and really hopes this relationship works out.

I'm probably flying in the face of popular opinion here, but I'm not ready to jump on the bandwagon of approval for this relationship yet, especially for it becoming serious.
Yes, Nina has been without a man for too long while she's been waiting for Andy to get a clue. And yes, Jake has cute dimples, a ready smile, and he can play Twister with Sam. And yes, his ardent pursuit of her is good for Nina's ego. But what do we know about this man's character? So far pretty much all we know is:
1) He committed one of the most heinous sins a doctor can commit, issuing what were essentially fake prescriptions; and he did it many times. Feeling bad about it later doesn't excuse the crime, nor does passing it off as a favor for friends. At the crucial point, when the decision had to be made, he threw his integrity and his Hippocratic Oath out the window to appease some Hollywood hotshots.
2) He lacked the moral courage to be honest with women he presumably cared about when he wished to end their relationships. He took the coward's way out. His explanation that he did it to avoid hurting anybody was crap. He did it to save himself grief.
I was shocked the other night when Nina, AFTER hearing all of this, described him as a good man. The only real evidence she has that's he's a good man is that he's told her so ("I'm a giver"), and he's nice to Sam. She's never seen him in a situation where the right course is one which requires moral courage. Wasn't Nina let down already by a man lacking moral courage?
I'm fine with these two together for a short period until Andy undoes his Cranial Rectal Insertion. But, for Nina's sake, I hope it doesn't become serious until Jake's true character is revealed. If it turns out he really is the nice guy he says he is, then I'll require room on the bandwagon.

Yes, I have a liking for these two, but until Jake has revealed all his secrets, such as how he just so happened to end up in Everwood, and knew exactly who Andy was, let alone the coincidence of his father knowing Harold's father, I can't fully support this couple because I don't want Nina to get screwed over again. However, for now, I do like what I see, and I will continue to appreciate them, although, with a cautious guard while doing so.

I can't wait to see them when it comes back!

I've been watching this show for a while now and I absolutely love Jake/Nina. They were adorable last night.

I very much enjoyed everything with Nina/Jake ... even though I am a fan of Andy/Nine ... but right now, I don't think he deserves her.

Personally, I was mad that Jake mentioned that Nina loved Andy, because he is going to come between them ... and I don't want that to happen, because Jake is a nice guy, someone Nina needs.

jediwands 05-04-2005 08:44 AM

I do think that Jake made a huge mistake by telling Andy about Nina being in love with him. I was shocked that he mentioned it at all. I was confused as to why Jake would have thought that Andy knew about Nina's feelings for him. Nina never gave Jake any clue that she told Andy about her true feelings. I'm also surprised that by looking at Andy's shocked expressed, even though he covered up his shock quite well during the rest of the convo, that Jake didn't pick up that Andy was completely clueless on this revelation.

Yep, I think Jake opened up a can of worms by mentioning this to Andy. Triangle anyone?

They were perfection tonight and I am in such a dilema because I have been a Andy/Nina shipper from the beginning but I love Jake so much!
