The Louise Nurse/Jan Broberg Felt - Appreciation Thread, Because She Rocks #1

This woman needs an own thread, after all she has appeared in 32 episodes (Thats more than characters like Linda, Colin and Madison!) How would Harold survive without this woman

Then, I'd appreciate it if you'd say "could you please have the folders redone by Friday, Louise?" And further more, I was not hired to make coffee. So... if I choose to do so, it will be on a case by case, personal favor basis. Is that understood? ~ Louise

Woohoo! I'm here! Louise did rock!

... it's funny how she's so easily forgotten although she's been so very present from the beginning to the end. It's sort of sad, too.. this character really deserves this appreciation thread.

You are so right, I felt so bad when I noticed that I had forgotten all about her. I must say that I felt that sometimes Harold was a little bit hard on her I also see her as a person that follows the flow, does what other does and so on. I was sad when I looked her up at IMDB and saw that she had only had two small roles since Everwood . I always wish the best for every Everwood actor!

Oh, Harold was definitely too hard on her, especially because she always seemed so lonely and shy... and she was always friendly... and such a loving person, I loved how she came to the practice just to water the ficus. She was just all around a nice character on the show that made me laugh a lot. Definitely a way too underrated character.

Louise!!!! So fun. Loved that gag reel you posted, Betty. I was wondering how many of the scenes would be Harold coming into the office and interacting with her, and at least 4 were just that. Weirdly enough, the moment I think of first when I think of Louise is her crying at the funeral in "Goodbye, Love".

Thanks for the thread, Rolfi and Leo. I think we've got two mod elves.

Cracked up at Louise Nurse, though. Too bad we never got a last name.

Than you very much for the gag reel Betty =) I didnt remember that scene with her and Andy, was pretty funny to hear her saying she had been fired before as a masseur I cant understand why this funny woman hasnt gotten more roles

I cant remember her in the "Goodbye, Love" episode but I have to check it out.

I searched her name on youtube and this is what I found

She is such a strong woman and that she still has this sense of humour shows me that. I just really want to find the guy who did this and teach him a lesson!!
If you ever see this Jan, I respect you so much and continue what you are doing because we need people like you in this world!

Wow, that is unbelievable! You're right, the fact that she was able to come back from that and not only share her story, but to move on and not be bound by her experiences, shows what a strong and incredible woman she is.

I'm... speechless. This is so horrible... and I'm so very impressed how she could ever be so strong and speak up after something like that and fight to help preventing such crimes the best she can. A most admirable woman.

My goodness. I had no idea!! Horrible story, but yes, she is an amazing woman to bounce back from something like that so well.

Well said, Rolfi.

There's an article here where you can read more about it while she's on the set of the show. You also get more of a feel for Jan Broberg Felt the person and what she was like on the set and her thoughts on Louise. It's quite a read.

I just read that youtube link that you posted, Rolfi. My goodness...that almost seems hard to believe. Kidnapped twice by the same person...how does that happen?
