| Supreme Fan | Just letting everyone know that we're nominating and (eventually) voting for our favourite Andy/Ephram scenes in the Ephram and Andy thread and we'd like to get a good amount of people. At least voting. We could use help nominating scenes too, but voting is when we're especially going to need people because these two characters have had so many amazing scenes and we want to see what people like best from Andy adn Ephram, so just keep an eye on that thread if you can. | Can I have a woohoo, please?     My entire series boxset arrived today! It's very economically packaged, basically 2 boxes with the discs all stacked on top of eachother (Seasons 1 & 2 in Volume 1, the last two in Volume 2), 8 eps on each disc, so double-sided recording, I'm guessing! Once you've chosen a side, if you want to change, you have to take the disc out & start again, which is a bit of a pain, but one I'm happy to live with, as it means I have all the eps! Another downside is the random ad breaks promoting various long gone shows & the announcements "next on is Smallville" bits ot the bottom of the screen... All minor niggles though, in the grand scheme of things!The thing I like most is the use of the original music! I just watched the Thaw Fest moment where Andy sees Julia & Van Morrison's "Steal My Heart away" just adds so much to the scene, as it's so much more poignant & beautiful than whatever got used in the Season 1 boxset the WB released! I'm going to have me a Season 3 marathon, as I haven't seen the ep that has Ephram & Amy's almost first time at the cabin or their actual first time, which I think are fairly key to that relationship! Oh, and I missed the ep (Season 3 finale, I think?) where Rose is operated on for her cancer, by Andy-it's the ep with "Beloved Wife" by Natalie Marchant, which is allegedly a must-see too! Whoever thought that a simple boxset could bring so much joy to one person's life? | |||
