Welcome to the Emily Van Camp/Amy Abbott Appreciation Thread! Here's the place to express your thoughts, likes, dislikes, and opinions of Emily Van Camp and her Everwood character Amy Abbott.

Born in Port Perry, Ontario, VanCamp has been performing since the age of 3 as a dancer and at 12 was accepted into the prestigious LEcole Superieure de Danse de Quebec, the official training program of Les Grands Ballet Canadiens. She moved to Vancouver for the intensive training program.

When her older sister, Katie, also a dancer, was cast in a film as a ballerina, Emily fell in love with acting while visiting the set. Since then, she has amassed both television and feature film credits.

In the television miniseries "Jackie O: A Life Story," she portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis at the age of 13. Frances Fisher, who plays VanCamps mother in "Glory Days," played her mother in the project. Most recently, Emily starred in last years Sundance Film Festival hit "Lost & Delirious" and will be seen in the upcoming feature film "No Good Deed" opposite Samuel L. Jackson Her television debut was on the short live WB show Glory Days when she played Sam. When not on the Vancouver set of "Glory Days," Emily continues her dance training, including ballet, tap, jazz and hip-hop.

Yeah, still in that specific thread, it's all about Emily VC and there are also a lot of different threads. Just wanted to know if we need 2 threads, I'll post in both of them, I've got time for that.

I'm not sure that I understand your question, Matt.
I think you need to ask the moderators of the new Emily board if it's okay for you
to start a thread there.

Now that Emily has her own board....please help Greg get a board for Rookie Blue. Even if you don't watch the show....please vote now for RB to help!

Hm...Betty...I don't undestand you neither. I just asked how much sense it makes to have two threads about Emily VanCamp on :? It's perfecty alright, it's just that here a lot of Reveng discussion is going on, of course more on the EVC-thread on Revenge-board, still there are two threads existing parallel. Anyway. Now Parenthood needs a board. Sorry, but I'm in love with Parenthood.

I'm not sure what kind of threads they're going to have on the Revenge board....but I'm sure there will be a thread for all of the characters. There's enough of Emily that we can discuss her and her show on more than one board.

Also Emily delivered another very good performance in last night`s episode of Revenge. Plus she gave us fanboys a nice treat. In fact here is a gif of it.


Let me just WOW! I`m going to ahead and say that scene has now dethroned the log walking scene as the best Emily bikini scene.
