I think the reason as to why they aren't showing reruns of Everwood is because of Everwood's popularity.. The fact that they know that Everwood is rock solid and they felt comfortable enough that they could pull the reruns during hiatus in favor of putting on a different show, sort of proves that they have confidence in Everwood and the fans.. At least, this was the explanation that was buzzing around, anyway. So, I suppose that we should take some solace in the fact that the WB feels like Everwood is rock solid.. Nah, I don't feel good about that.. I wanted reruns!

Yeah, I guess I like that fact also, *nathanhaley*. I just wish they would stop taking advantage of how great they have it with a golden show like Everwood. What I mean is, the lack of advertising for this show in favor of advertising their other shows as those shows more appropriately cater to the younger audiences, thus, displaying the teen idols on those shows such as CMM, etc. I think the WB has a difficult time deciphering how to market Everwood due to the shows uniqueness and one of the lead characters being a middle aged man, instead of their usual shows having two "hot young guys" that will make the teen girls go crazy. I think the WB needs to understand that Everwood is such a great show, and they should treat it as such. I mean, look how they haven't even decided on if they are going to release season 2 on DVD! WTF? That's just not right.
I honestly think they have no clue what to do with Everwood.. They are so in sync with knowing how to promote their teen soap shows but are clueless as to how to promote and proudly market the substance-filled show they have in Everwood. It just doesn't make any sense to me and as you can tell, it frustrates me to no end, so I'll stop now. |

Wilpen, call me Sydney. Well, I watch that show with CMM, but I do agree that they only promote OTH that much to get a younger audience. I love that show and Everwood, and I think that they should get the same amount of airtime promotion.

I think it will be really interesting to see how Bright will react to Topher, if Hannah goes out with him now that she is clear of having the gene for getting her father's disease (HD). It was well established that her unwillingness to go out with Topher was due to her uncertain future. Now that she knows that her future is clear from getting the disease, I bet Hannah just might take Topher up on his offer. Hmm, I wonder how Bright is going to take this? I'm guessing not great. I will bet that jealousy gets the best of Bright and he will finally come clean to Hannah about his developing feelings for her. At least that's my hope.
