We are so getting to page three tonight. Aren't we? Please refer to the edited version of my last post. I would love to know what you guys think of the parallels between Ephram's and Andy's relationships.

Oh! Veronica Mars was on tonight and I wasn't even in my room. I usually have it on but I'm always doing something else so I'm not paying attention most of the time. I shall have to buckle down and check it out soon.

ETA: OK, really going now. I have to get this paper done. Happy chatting. Will probably be back on Friday night instead of Monday. Have a pleasant tomorrow.

OMG... you're so right... Ephram's hair is starting to look like Jay's! That's even more weird.

See, I don't know for sure... but I *think* this is the Clark/Chloe fans year. They keep mentioning Chloe's feelings for him in different episodes... and tonight there's also gonna be something that happens. I don't know exactly what... but I saw a lil spoiler clip in a game on thewb.com and it. is. hot. Can't wait! Heeee! How sad is it that I'm more excited for Smallville than I am Everwood? Stupid chemistry that Greg(Ephram)/Sarah(Madison) and Tom(Clark)/Allison(Chloe) have, that made me loooooove them!!!

About Ephram/Andy's relationships: I definitely notice the parallels, i.e. Amy/Colin for Ephram and now Amanda/husband with Andy. As far as the parallel for Nina and Madison. I think both are very nurturing, caring, somewhat afraid? (can't think of the appropriate word) of admitting their true feelings when it comes to being in love. We all know how Madison felt about Ephram... it was more clear later in their relationship (and as/after it ended), but we never heard her say it (I love you). Nina has never admitted her true feelings to Andy, and she just finally admitted it to herself after being on a date with Jake. That can kind of be said for Madison as well, because Jay told her that he thought there was someone else... but Madison didn't admit that to him or herself until she really took a look and figured out that she got excited every time she was going to see him etc. I really have no idea what I'm talking about. But just some thoughts. Any others?

Another thing that Madison and Nina have in common is Delia. They both love/d Delia and vise versa. Madison and Nina are/were more apart of the Brown family. I can't even remember the last time Amy talked to Delia...or had a scene with her...I don't know if that means anything...but it might be significant.

There's a good E/M spoiler for the Nov. 29th episode. Yay!

I watched some of Monday's episode and while I still enjoy the writing, I just don't get excited like I did during the E/M days.

I completely forgot about Delia... hmm weird. I wonder why? Maybe it's cause the writers feel like they don't need to include her this season. Whatever. So true though. BOTH Madison and Nina are/were like a part of the family. Madison connected with Delia in a way that no one has. One can say that was just because she was Delia's babysitter... but Madison did things with her several times on her own time. Delia even told Madison she loved her and she was her best friend. Andy said in court during Nina's custody trial, that he's afraid Delia is more comfortable at Nina's house than she is in her own room. Have we EVER had a scene where Amy even talked to Delia? Except for when Ephram first got home and she answered the phone and said "it's Amy." Amy already had "bonding" time with Andy... but what about Delia? She is a part of Ephram's life too.

Wow, thanks for sharing your thoughts, ladies. I definitely think that Delia's relationship with Madison may become factored into the story, and I have been disappointed that the writers have failed to include her development into a young lady these past few episodes but they must have their reasons.

The last time that I remember seeing Amy and Delia in a scene together was in East Meets West at the miniature golf place. I think it's weird that the only time we ever see Amy now is with Ephram. The Hannah-time is sorely lacking and we know that she's not hanging out with Bright at all (which sucks too!). I understand her need to be with her guy, but get a hobby, hon. I just don't think it's healthy for her to be completely wrapped up in him when he's clearly got lots of other stuff going on. Has she mentioned doing other things?
Absence makes the heart grow fonder, Amy. Or hopefully, out of sight, out of mind Wait, who just said that?

Cool, we're still on BOT, and I was just thinking about this episode recently too...OK, so Madison was definitely conflicted with her feelings for him because she never denied that there was something there, just that it couldn't be there.
Almost like she was trying to convince herself that there were no feelings behind the kiss.
These are my favorite lyrics to the Weight of Water. The song kind of represent to me the big chance that she was taking/about to take with her feelings and her timidness in going with her heart.
Of course, I love this song because the music laid the background for Madison finally admitting that she had feelings for him too in JLITM. When I read that our JB music had been used in an E/A scene, I was quick to assume that this was it. If it was the music at the end of Last Looks, that might have been the regular end-of-episode music that they use. I would have to hear the music in LL and in BLP (?) to make a valid judgement. For now, I'm just rambling, I suppose.

Of course, my post would not be complete without a little shoutout to Mr. Gavin DeGraw, whose music reaches me on every level related to Jailbait. And with real life too, naturally. So for my third Gavin selection, Follow Through:

Edited to add: OK, so I just saw over at the News thread that Emily and Benji Mac (my new nickname for him) are officially together, which totally rocked my socks because I realized that the Sarah/Greg conspiracy then lives on!
Should I bring Rachel's pic compilation over from the last thread? I wasn't sure if I should because the opening post would be really long, but who am I to talk about long posts, right? I guess I could shrink the size of the reasons list...

WORD. Amy needs to involve herself in other things... she was always like that though. First with Colin, then with Tommy, now with Ephram. You'd think she'd learn? Oh yeah, Amy has matured and grown A LOT.

Madison most definitely had to convince herself that there were no feelings there, that there COULDN'T be not that there WEREN'T. At least not until after Ephram spoke to her in that scene by his car.

As far as JB music in E/A scenes... I wouldn't know, since I really honestly don't pay attention!

Yes. I. Love. Gavin. DeGraw. I'm proud to say that I was a fan BEFORE he blew up! In fact, if I ever get that damn slideshow done haha... I'm using a Gavin DeGraw song for it.

Gavin was on What I Like About You tonight, and despite not loving the hair, his performance was great. He sang More Than Anyone *swoon*. Too bad it got covered up with all the important dialogue. Best episode I've seen in a while.
Looking forward to the slideshow. I will probably be brought to tears, just cause I'm sappy like that.

OK, so noone is here and in an attempt to shake my addiction to this place I did a little log of my progress...and I can't find it. Anyway, I was thinking that we could do a birthday listing so we have an excuse to party it up in here every once in a while. What do you guys think?

It's 10:30ish now here and I just got to thinking that DV isn't on anymore. There were so many unanswered questions that I had:
* Billy's daughter. I have a feeling that we were supposed to see her at some point.
* Tommy's life ouside of the casino. At least I hope he had one considering I think he lived there...
* Veronica at school/home with her dad/with people her own age...
* Veronica/Steve. Veronica/anybody!
I thought this show had tons of potential but I guess I can try to get my questions answered by reading the rest of the scripts over at the fansite.

Well, that's if I ever finish the slideshow! LOL Seriously, I can't do anything Everwood related right now cause I'm still on a Clark/Chloe high! *melts* Wednesday's ep was soooooooo good! I'm trying... really, well sort of. Please someone stop me from watching the elevator scene over and over... oh yeah and that damn Rush episode (heee Clark/Chloe mackin)! I really don't have enough time to do all the things that I'm working on... unless I never went to sleep haha.

I suppose we could do a birthday thing... more reason to celebrate!

Gavin's hair is a mystery to me sometimes. I'd have to say that More Than Anyone is prolly my fave on his album, that and Nice To Meet You Anyway.

I don't know if I really miss dr. vegas or not. I do miss seeing Sarah every week... but I think that might change very soon. *crosses fingers*

I should probably just start campaigning for Sarah's return rather than beating the dead horse that is DV. I still think it was too soon for them to cancel it. I mean, The Help was on for longer. The Help !!!!

i didn't see gavin on what i like about you, but i caught him on TRL a couple weeks ago and the hair was pretty bad...what is up with guys and bad hair these days *cough-GREG-cough*

Well...let's just hope we don't have to wait long for Madison's return...cause I don't know how much longer I can wait. Maybe a good E/A fight will make it all better...oh wait-they don't have any drama...so I guess a fight is way too much to ask for!

I want back the 30 mins I wasted on the pilot of this trash, but The Help was a show about the household staff of some mansion in LA. The Maid (played by Bright's storage room hookup), snobby actress daughter (played by J&B's Missy), Tori Spelling and pointless others...it was on Fridays on the WB...

Rach, I agree with the lack of drama with E/A. It would be nice to see some conflict so that Ephram doesn't have to look so bored all the time.

Yeeeah... I so don't remember that show AT ALL.

Something needs to happen between E/A... I mean come on, I know in real life, there isn't ALWAYS major drama going on... but HELLO? this is tvland and Everwood is a DRAMA. Which forgive me if I'm wrong, but that would mean there would be drama, right? And seeing how Ephram and Amy are 2 of the main characters... you catch my drift. They're always so Y-A-W-N. It was almost a work-out watching (pre-JB) Ephram and Madison's scenes, their verbal judo was enough to make anyone work up a sweat!

Rach, you're wrong... E/A have fought before. Over class schedules not meshing. Riiiiiight.

P.S. Candace: sorry I had to bail so fast... I freaked cause I had to be at my mom's work in 2 minutes! We'll chat more later fo shizzle! ghetto talk.

I guess since everyone else on the show is having issues, the writers had to find some characters to balance out the drama with...I dunno, undramatic material. Next week looks pretty dramatic for them though, and I expect great performances from Greg and Emily. I just hope that they don't go through with it. I think the ending will be very ambiguous like season 2 episode of DC when it wasn't clear which couple had had sex. I really hope they don't do it, because Amy's right that things are going to change. They're not ready, IMO, and I would have expected this to come up in February and not in November...I guess the sooner stufff can hit the fan the better. I think we should prepare ourselves for a bumpy ride going into the new year. *sigh*
