01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

I think I discovered the show when it was airing its second season in the Netherlands, so I assume it started 2 years earlier in America since the Netherlands are always behind.

02) What made you first start watching?

When I saw it I noticed that it had some interesting characters, who were likeable aswell. The chemistry was amazing, and I was especially interested in the Ephram/Amy dynamic, aswell as the Ephram/Andy connection. So much teen shows out there don't have the same heart that Everwood ( and some other WB shows ) had.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

My guess it would be season 2. I loved Linda and her connection with Harold, and I know I'm in the minority, but I liked the addition of Maddison. While I always saw Ephram and Amy as endgame she made Ephram more mature and they were quite nice together.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

Season 2. Season 4. Season 3. Season 1.

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram. I never played the piano, but other than that...I was an outsider aswell. He was easy to relate to. He was shy, but that changed throughout the series. The sarcasm was something I responded to aswell. His relationships only added more likeable things into the character. And I hope I'm not shallow but I say this..but he was really good looking!

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

That's a hard one. I think it would be Jake, but mainly because I didn't like him with Nina. Other than that I didn't think he was really interesting. The way he was written in...no thanks.

07) Favorite storyline of all time:

Hmm. To be honest my favorite one is automatically the biggest one. The red line throughout the series. Seeing how much Andy and Ephram ( biggest examples ) have changed always makes me warm.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Everything involving Colin. Don't ask me why, but I never symphatised with the situation. Sure, it was really sad. I know that. I just didn't feel it.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Amy/Ephram, and Nina/Andy. Mainly because of the amazing build-up, which was realistic at most times. I also like Bright/Hannah, but just not as much, especially with Bright's cheating.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Jake/Nina. Mainly because Nina gave him enough chances and he continued to ruin them. And honestly...because I wanted her to be with Andy.

11) Are you currently watching the show in any fashion?

Recently I wanted to start a rewatch, but my BF asked me to wait, because he thought the show looked interesting ( another show that I now cannot watch at my own, lol ) and wanted to look at it together once we're done with another series.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following?

I don't know what was originally planned in season 5, but I liked the possibility to see Maddison again. Not to have a fling with Ephram again...but to show us that that ship had sailed and that nothing would ever come between Amy and Ephram again. That he was with Amy, DESPITE Maddison's interest in him. If that makes sense.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

They were fools to pass it off. Simple as that. But we got a happy ending, so I try not to think too negative about it.

14) Best looking actor?

Gregory Smith, without a doubt. Especially when the series was airing.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily vanCamp. Who can say no to that? Ok, I'm gay, so I'd say no to her, but even I have to admit she's beatiful. And kind. I'd love to have a friend like her.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Yup. Quite so. I don't know what I would have done differently imo. Maybe small things ( maybe a flashforward so we could see that Bright and Hannah got together again ), but nothing big.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Hmm. I don't really have one, because I am way more interesting in the overall storylines than an episode itself. The season 2 finale was extremely good though.

18) Most talented actor?

Gregory Smith.

19) Most talented actress?

Tie between Sarah Drew and Emily vanCamp. They both grew up so much. Drew on Grey's Anatomy, and Emily on Brothers & Sisters and Revenge. If I had to choose one I'd go with Emily, but I honestly think they are not that much apart..quality wise. Acting-wise.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

I'd say that the show has a lot of heart...and that there ain't many shows out there who can say the same. Especially in the teen genre. It's about family, and easy to relate to for a lot of people. That's what I'd say.

21) In looking back, does the series mean as much to you now as it once did when the show was on air?

Shows always change once there are no new episodes, but it's still a show that I am glad to have on dvd. That way I can rewatch it whenever I want in the future. Knowing how much I love the show I'm sure I'll rewatch the show a lot of times in the future. There aren't much shows out there who are as good as Everwood.

22) Is there any character or storyline you hated in the past but now like or at the very least, respect and appreciate?

The woman, played by Anna Heche, who played Andy's girlfriend ( while being married ). Back then I thought it was wrong, but now..I find it interesting. It wasn't an easy situation, and I don't know what I would have done.

23) How do you rank Everwood as far as your favorite shows of all time?

It has always been in my top 10. There are a few shows out there that I consider better, but the show is always very solid in my list, and that's saying something, since I watch A LOT.

24) If you had Berlanti in front of you for one minute, what would you say to him?

Hi. LOL. I don't know.

25) Have you found another show post-Everwood that touches you in the same way as Everwood?

There were some shows out there that had the same quality Everwood had, but those shows ( heart/family-wise ) are extinct these days. Maybe Switched at Birth, but I am not up to date with the series. Are there shows out there that are better quality-wise? Yes. The Good Wife for example. Or Grey's Anatomy. BUT I enjoy them in a different way than that I've always enjoyed Everwood.

02) What made you first start watching? I saw advertisements for the show which intrigued me, plus I always liked Treat Williams.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much? Season Three, pre-Madisongate, because that was the season that Ephram and Amy were finally together.

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character? Ephram, because I could really relate to him and how he felt like he didn’t fit in when he moved from New York City to Everwood.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time: Madison getting pregnant and revealing to Ephram that she had his baby at the worst possible time.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why: Ephram and Madison, because they were horribly mismatched and she acted like she was ashamed to be with him, plus her pregnancy haunted the rest of the series.

11) Are you currently watching the show in any fashion? Not at this time, but I want to start again soon, as I have the entire series on DVD.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following? Seeing how Andy and Nina would adjust to married life and seeing Ephram and Amy reunite.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them? You made a huge mistake, because Everwood was one of the best shows of all time, and you cancelled it for a crap show that had already ended its run.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale? Yes, except that I didn’t like it that Jake was the one to tell Nina that her heart was with Andy and not him. She should have been the one who told Jake that.

When it played in syndication on ABC Family, years ago.

02) What made you first start watching?
Some people on the Gilmore Girls board at TWOP had talked about it a lot, so the title caught my eye when it was going to start on ABCF.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?
Season 3, because of Hannah and because of Bright's growth.

Bright, because he matures into someone that I would really like to know IRL.

Very least favorite is Madison, for reasons that I've rambled on about for eons LOL. Second least favorite would probably be Jake, because he only ever felt like a plot device to keep Nina and Andy apart for a while longer. I just never could warm to his character at all.

Andy becoming the father that Julia always believed he could be.

Madison getting pregnant.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Bright and Hannah. They both became better people because of the other.

All of them, of course. Well, organic storylines anyway, not the crapfest that GB had planned for unknown reasons.

It's your loss, but at least we didn't have to watch a beloved show get stupid and unbearable.

Treat and Tom for the older guys, Greg and Chris for the teens.

Emily for her classic beauty, Sarah for the girl-next-door look.

Yes.

Oh I don't know, the Pilot I guess. It brought everything and wasn't at all cheesy and contrived like many Pilot episodes are. But after that, probably Home. Gah, the tears.

I don't think there's any that weren't talented. Every single one of them became their characters in a very real way.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?
Because even though it may tear your heart out, it is truly one of the best shows that ever aired. The characters are heartfelt and relatable.

I didn't know about it when it was on the air.

Top five. X-Files will always be number one, but Everwood remains number three at the moment (after Gilmore Girls).

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

Hm I would say 3 years ago.

02) What made you first start watching?

I was watching the first season of Revenge and decided to check Everwood because of Emily.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

The first season. I think that it showed beautifully the conflict between Ephram and Andy and it showed both sides so well that it kind of makes you rooting for them to start getting along.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram - I could relate to him the most. I loved his sarcasm and wit and how he handled bullies with such answers. I used to do it all the time as a kid and I still have this cynical side now.

The second one is Andy. Sometimes I tend to obsess over things that are interesting to me - usually related to something scientific. In moments like this I am able to neglect the people in my life. I guess this is why I understood him also.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Out of the recurring ones Amanda. Need to explain? I don't think that anyone liked the idea of her.

Out of the regular ones Amy. I just can't relate to her. If I was able it was not because of her, but because some things have happened to me. In real life situation people like her drain me so I tend to avoid them.

07) Favorite storyline of all time:

Andy and Ephram becoming like real father and son. From the Pilot till the end. From the hate to the respect. Loved it.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Madison's pregnancy - from the pregnancy to Andy's idea to lie Ephram and including Ephram dropping his ideas for Julliard. All of it.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

I didn't watch Everwood for the romantic couples, but if I have to say a couple dynamic that I loved it was Laynie/Ephram. Loved them together.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Madison/Ephram because of the pregnancy. If there was no pregnancy I would be indifferent to the whole story.

11) Are you currently watching the show in any fashion?

Currently no.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following?

Andy and Nina being couple. Delia getting to grow up.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

It was mistake.

14) Best looking actor?

Well Treat and Tom are good looking, but too old for me to actually impress me. To be honest none of the male actors were exactly super eye candy to me, but I liked Greg Smith's look in Season 2 (only there).

15) Best looking actress?

Sarah Drew. Emily is awesome, but I prefer brunettes in any day.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Not exactly. First I was disappointed about the way Nina ended up with Andy. Sorry I just didn't want Jake to be the person to tell her to not go with him. I wanted it to be her decision. Second we didn't get to see Nina and Andy as a couple.

And third I hate the Ferris wheel as grand gesture. In this second episode Ephram was so crushed realizing that Amy was all about Colin and every time I see it I think about this. So I didn't like it.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Pilot and then Home.

18) Most talented actor?

This is hard because for me it's divided between Treat, Tom and Greg. I think that all three of them showed great talent playing their characters.

19) Most talented actress?

Emily and Sarah. Both were spectacular for me.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

Because it has great story and multi-dimensional real characters.

21) In looking back, does the series mean as much to you now as it once did when the show was on air?

I didn't see it when it was on air. I could say that I would most probably feel this way though because when it was on air I was a teen. I watched it when I was older and wiser and more knowledgeable about life general so I think that I saw some things differently than I would have if I were teen.

22) Is there any character or storyline you hated in the past but now like or at the very least, respect and appreciate?

Nope. I hated only two things - those are Amanda/Andy and Madison's pregnancy and I still dislike them.

23) How do you rank Everwood as far as your favorite shows of all time?

I have only two favorite shows (Roswell and ReGenesis) and they are top 1. The others are just after this. I don't watch that many shows till the end so the ones that I stayed till end for are the ones that I like.

24) If you had Berlanti in front of you for one minute, what would you say to him?

Hm as weird as it sounds I would discuss with him the show and its characters.

25) Have you found another show post-Everwood that touches you in the same way as Everwood?

Not like Everwood because I was touched by the father/son story there and I haven't found anything like that. Aside this I usually watch other types of shows - sci-fi or criminal/mystery stuff and these shows give me something else.

I first started watching it on ABC Family.

02) What made you first start watching?

I heard it recommended by so many people, so I decided to give it a shot from the beginning on ABC family.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

It's tough because I like so many parts of every season. I would have to say that the first season was the most magical season. It really pulled me into this show big time and I couldn't let go.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram (with Andy as a close tie!). I loved Ephram from his first moment in the Pilot until the moment he declared his love for Amy in the finale. I know he was flawed and obnoxious at times...but I thought that he was sensitive, caring, loving, intelligent, super talented and funny, and I found his looks very hot.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

I hated Miss Violet the most. She has absolutely no redeeming qualities...whereas the other questionable characters weren't totally flawed.

07) Favorite storyline of all time:

I loved the build up of Andy and Ephram as loving, respectful father and son. I cherished every single moment when they appeared to "get" each other and when they had a good rapport.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

I hated Madison's pregnancy and what its affect had on so many aspects of the show.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Amy and Ephram. They grew so much as a couple...with numerous frustrating ups and downs. I pulled for them from the first moment that Amy told Ephram that he was bold out there.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram and Madison (believe it or not!). The end result wasn't worth any benefit Ephram might have gotten from that relationship.

11) Are you currently watching the show in any fashion?

Everwood rewatch.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following?

I would love to see what would happen with Andy and Nina's marriage and how their families would relate to each other...I would love to see how Amy and Ephram's romance developed...I would love to see if Bright and Hannah got back together...I would love to see what academic paths the young characters take and what their career choices would be.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

You were all IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

14) Best looking actor?

I love Treat and Greg's looks.

Emily...most definitely.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

For the most part. I do wish that there was a little aftermath to the ferris wheel scene.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Very tough to pick. I loved the Pilot and the Finale equally. And...I can't leave out The Reflex.

18) Most talented actor?

Treat and Tom are equally talented (in my opinion).

19) Most talented actress?

Emily is super talented.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

It's a heartwarming show that will pull you in immediately to root for the characters. It has everything: Drama, family dynamics, heartbreak, comedy, romance.....something for everyone in the family.

21) In looking back, does the series mean as much to you now as it once did when the show was on air?

It still means as much to me now. I am not as obsessed as I was to rewatch the episodes, because it's human nature to eventually move on. But...my love for the show is still very strong.

22) Is there any character or storyline you hated in the past but now like or at the very least, respect and appreciate?

I didn't hate the Nina/Jake storyline...but I wasn't crazy about it. I guess it was necessary at the time. Nina did need someone in her life who obviously cared for her and gave her his time, and wasn't getting that from Andy.

23) How do you rank Everwood as far as your favorite shows of all time?

It's still up there as my favorite show of all time.

24) If you had Berlanti in front of you for one minute, what would you say to him?

Thank you very very much for this beautiful show.

Friday Night Lights touched me in a similar fashion.....but Everwood is still number one.

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

The end of season 2 as Ephram/Amy are coming together romantically.

02) What made you first start watching?

I was keenly aware of how great this show was based on hearing the critics rave endlessly along with many Dawson's Creek posters talking about the show. But I was hesitant to get involved with another show given the drama I went through with Dawson's Creek so I kept delaying tuning in. What honestly caused me to watch was whenever I heard Jerry's words about the show. I just knew I had to tune in given how I understood he knew exactly what it was like enduring Dawson's Creek for so many years yet he was still tuning in and watching Everwood. So I came to the conclusion that it couldn't hurt to take a look at the show. Initially, I was so scared that it was just another teen soap that would annoy me and be a waste of my time as well. But again, I took Jerry's advice and went with it. I'm so glad I made this decision. One Sunday afternoon I flipped to a repeat on the WB, the finale of 2, the EA mountain scene when Ephram said "You're it Amy...." I looked at the Greg/Emily chemistry with both disbelief and happiness. I simply couldn't believe how powerful they were together, the chemistry was so strong, I just knew I had never seen anything like it before. I was sold. This show blew me away instantly. I immediately got my hands on seasons 1 and 2 that very summer before season 3 took place. By the time the premiere of season 3 started I was totally caught up and ready to go.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Season 1. It had a little of everything and was (and still is) unlike anything I've ever seen on TV before. It is my favorite season of TV ever.

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Easy one. The one and only, Amy. Adored her, flaws and all. She was perfection in her imperfection if that makes any sense. Not to mention the brilliant Emily VanCamp playing her. Amy, to me, represented realness. I found her so endearing in the good as well as bad times because she was so real. Not only is she my favorite on Everwood but my very favorite TV character of all time.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Madison. She was the attempted "destroyer of the series" and I will always strongly believe that.

07) Favorite storyline of all time:

The Ephram/Amy romance. Now THAT is how you write a romantic pairing.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Pregnancy storyline, Madison season 2, anything related to Madison.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram/Amy, because they were the most realistic couple I've ever seen. Not to mention the best chemistry I have ever witnessed between two actors in Greg and Emily. The Ephram/Amy love story was precious from the very beginning. You witnessed their bond the first moment you saw them together in the very first episode and it never wavered. They were connected and it was beautiful. The strong love and devotion they had for each other had zero limitations. It was endless and everlasting. You had a feeling they were together even when they were physically apart just because of the powerful emotional bond they had together. They were always with each other no matter what was going on in their lives. You always knew they were meant to be together from the start. Their love story was never even for one moment damaged, it remained strong and beautiful the entire way through. And we received such a perfect ending to their love story. This is my favorite TV couple of all time and I know that will never change. Just as they are "IT" for each other, they are "IT" for me as well.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram/Madison, because they were wrong from the start. Their relationship had no business ever beginning. Thus, the entire storyline from start to finish was terribly difficult to watch. Andy/Amanda was horrible too but not as bad as Ephram/Madison because they were not together as long and Amanda never threatened to destroy the series as a whole.

11) Are you currently watching the show in any fashion?

Always.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following?

- Ephram/Amy, always my favorite pairing to watch.
- Andy/Nina engaged and preparing for their future wedding.
- Harold and Edna living under the same roof as well as watching Edna adjust to life without Irv.
- Delia maturing and watching the Andy/Delia relationship grow.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

You made the biggest mistake inexplicably allowing the best show you had at your fingertips slip away in favor of lower quality shows, not to mention some of these shows being way past their prime and others being just plain stupid. Have fun dealing with regret.

Absolutely, considering this was the very best series finale I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Such a beautiful ending to an outstanding, one of a kind series that I will simply never stop watching.

The Pilot. It was the beginning.

Treat, Tom and Greg I have to say. I can't put one without the other two.

Everwood is the best television show I have ever seen. Touching, endearing, drama with well integrated comedy along with complex, layered characters, engaging, realistic storylines that will touch you like no other. The writing is absolutely fabulous, literally blows you away and the acting is so spectacular, at times you hardly feel like you're watching a TV show, instead, you're watching something taking place right in front of you. The depth of talent in both writing and acting is the best I've ever witnessed. It truly is a show where you care and cheer for the characters you feel you truly know and with that, you're deeply involved with their lives as a result. This show is never afraid to tackle controversial topics and somehow conclude them in a realistic and beautiful way. This show has everything you could ever want if you are interested in seeing pure magic on the screen.

This series, if anything, means more to me now. I appreciate it more and more as the years move along as I realize nothing can top this series. This series, for me, gets better with age and it was already the best very early on.

Back in the day, I didn't like Bright/Hannah romantically very much. My preference was for them to stay friends. However, I absolutely grew to love them romantically over the years.

It is my favorite show of all time. Lost and Friends are two others that I put high up there. But Everwood is IT.

Thank you for giving me Everwood and especially Ephram/Amy. I would emphasize how very unique Evewrood is. I might mention how much I despised Madison and that is my only gripe. LOL

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

I watched it from the first episode as it aired.

02) What made you first start watching?

The odd name caught my eye, and I remembered Treat Williams from The Substitute and Deep Rising. The commercials are what made me actually want to watch it.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Season 2. I loved Linda and Andy. I liked Ephram standing up to Amy and her crap treatment of him. I loved Ephram/Madison, though I hated how it ended, and I loved seeing Ephram and Amy find their way back to each other.

Bright, because he probably showed the most growth from the first episode to the last episode, and he went from a character that I couldn't stand to one I missed when he wasn't in the episode.

Tommy Callahan. I thought he was a bad influence on Amy all around. Least favorite main character...probably Edna.

Least favorite ever: Andy/Amanda. Least favorite 'major' couple: Nina/Andy. I never really 'got' them together, and I really didn't like that the only reason that they ended up getting together is because Jake broke up with Nina because it was super-obvious she wanted Andy.

I haven't in a long time. I have all the episodes on DVD, but it's been ages since I've busted them out.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you most interested in following?

Personally, I would've been interested in seeing what happened if they brought Madison back. Amy was Ephram's first love, but Madison was his first major relationship, and it would've been interesting to see him juggle that.

I hope it was worth it to get rid of a show that was in your top 5 highest rated shows in favor of a show you cancelled after 3 episodes.

At one time I would've said Greg, but over time I think that Chris Pratt is.

Emily Van Camp, with Sarah Lancaster coming in as an extremely close second.

It's so hard to explain the show to someone else. It's just the sum of the things: The Ephram/Amy relationship. The Andy/Ephram relationship. The Andy/Harold relationship, and the relationship of all of them to the town itself just combine to bring forth a show that it uniquely good and worth watching.

Ephram. Basically I relate to his snarkiness and his musical desires. Pretty much the way he went about life was very familiar to me. It struck such a chord. There was just a richness to his character that's unparalleled.

Madison. Because she's the worst. She's gross. She's manipulative and oy I think I need to stop because she is the very definition of an emotional manipulator.

I love the Colin storyline because it was very poignant. IT was sad and touched me.
