Well since I was sort of ripping, well not ripping, but talking about Ephram/Madison having no chemistry (I guess that's ripping) on the EM thread lets have it... what about Ephram/Amy didn't grab you? Was it Amy's treatment of Ephram in season 1? You just thought he fit better with Madison? Lack of believability? What are your thoughts, Taurus?

Well where do I start? I mean her hair was just ugh and that weird.... No I kid really I had nothing against them, I just didn't fall for them. I knew from day one they would be end game and I guess they bored me. I still loved the show its not like I hated EA I didnt I enjoyed them but I wasnt ever crazy enough about them to analyze every detail and have their scenes really stick in my brain. Basically yeah it was the bore factor I guess.

Wasn't it nice for a change though that outside of Madison getting all pregnant (ahhhh) Ephram/Amy for the most part weren't the typical teen couple in the sense that when they got together they just fit... no drama, they just worked, you know? Think of season 3 and how the stupid Madison band lie had to appear out of thin air in order to create drama between them because up until that point they were smooth sailing. Of course the pregnancy then threw them for a loop but they eventually found their way back to each other... and yes I realize I will not convince you although I might still try here and there since I'm me. LOL.

What about chemistry though? Did you think Greg/Emily had chemistry?

What did you think of both characters, Ephram and Amy, individually? Did you like both? I'm trying to figure out if maybe one character bothered you when they were together? Or was it really just about not feeling sparks when you saw them? They were vanilla (did I JUST say that about my Ephram/Amy even in question form! Ahhh) and you just didn't really get into them?

Umm well it was believable thats a given but did I think omg best actors I have ever seen? No good definately good and it was a breakout show for them both but I wasn't like flored with them. Then again I havent watched them as closely as yall have.

Again nothing against the characters I just never had that OMG I CANT WAIT for next week feeling about them. Maybe it was because I loved my girl Madison so much but I mean I saw S1 EA and still didnt fall so idk. I enjoyed their characters I though Ephram was set up perfectly with his anger issues and him dealing with his mom and then eventually becoming the strong individual he is in the later seasons because of it. Amy I guess she was more blah to me than the others she was a little to floozy for me in the beginning although you could always see there was much more to her than she showed early on. She grew and became a more dynamic character as the seasons went on but really it was the whole predictability of them both.

Vanilla is a good word I guess. I watched each week but never felt the urge to rush to YouTube to rewatch a specific scene. So yeah Vanilla it was yummy the first time around but I didnt find myself rushing back for seconds.

I know I know but I cant just make up how I felt about them like I said I enjoyed their story but I never fell hardcore for them.

As for them being like CS I respect your opinion on that as well but since you never saw the first two season of Chuck Its hard to agree with that assesment. To me the build up of CS was just different than anything I have ever seen. S3 and S4 are more a normal TV show progression but those first two seasons of CS were just so idk its hard to explain. It was the little things that were slowly built up all the small storylines surrounding them that ultimately made them what they are.

EA yeah they had great great elements that I loved but the development wasnt the same as CS. Plus its really hard to compare them since they are in different periods of the lives EA being teenagers while CS are adults.

You're right...I can see that I missed a lot in the build up of their relationship. I will have to find a way of seeing those seasons.

You really should and not just for CS the whole show is just not the same without knowing where it all started.
