No. My church does have a huge (blessed) basket of colored eggs on the altar which are passed out to the parishioners after Easter Mass.

That's cool. Our local church doesn't bless baskets but we go to a church in downtown Minneapolis that does. It's really cool, they do fun things for children too.

Anna has to be back at her college the night of Easter Sunday (she’s done with college for the year two weeks after that) and Sara works the morning of Easter Sunday. So we’re definitely having a casual Easter Sunday over at my sister’s house.

Casual or not...you're with your family and it will be wonderful.

I will be hosting...go figure. A highlight this Easter is that Nadine is coming. She has never come Easter because she only has a week off, but we have a wedding (my cousin's daughter who is very close to Nadine.) The Wedding is Monday..day after Easter. So...Easter will be extra special this year.

Nadine only has a week off, so she's coming Good Friday and leaving the following Friday.

Hopefully if I have time. Monday is the wedding and Tuesday morning is a Brunch. I don't think Nadine will want to hang around there too long because her time is limited. So...we may just leave after the brunch so that Nadine can see other people.

I'm not sure they're going on a honeymoon at this time. This wedding was put together in a month's time. The bride's father (my cousin't husband) is battling cancer and the bride wants her dad to walk her down the isle. Hence the quick wedding.

Awe that’s sad. Is he terminally ill with cancer or his treatments just make him weak?
