| Everyone, I'd like to make an announcement: I will locate the copy I think I saw at my local library of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer Stone for sale for like 25 cents. I will then purchase it or if not, I will take it out from the library and read it. If I do like it, like all of you say I will, I will use birthday money to get my own set. (First, I will have to travel to the local B&N and get their members card so I can take advantage of an additional 10% off .. This is because I got a $50 B&N gift certificate and if you add $17.99 {price of HBP for non-members} and $28.66 {price of the 1-5 boxed set, non-members} together, you get $46.65 and then sales tax brings the total to $50.39 .. 39 cents too much for the certificate when I am not a member.) /announcement __________________ I've gone discovering the world. Of course, they get better as the series progress, because everyone gets older and they have crushes and stuff, but still. In fact, I feel like both Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny are a given for happy endings. JK has set this up plain as day in HBP. I do feel for the Aurors because JK really did sink their ship romantically. I love the H/Hr friendship so I'm cool, but for anyone that wanted to see these two romantically, it's highly, highly unlikely now. Almost like zero chance. JK has firmly showed that Harry's heart lies with Ginny and that will never change and Ron/Hermione are a done deal. How much better can it get? Gaby: I have already jumped for joy ten times over about your decision to give the series a try. Like Janelle said, this series is addicting and the series gets better and better and better as it goes along. It's honestly pure perfection if you ask me.
