Everwood Ratings

Disclaimer: I apologize if this post is unnecessary, mods. I didn't see one like it anywhere; but if there is one, or it doesn't seem productive, then, by all means, delete it.

In early 2006, when Everwood was ending, I started a thread on The WB's Talk board for Everwood. It was called "The Big Post," I think, and it had a ton of information about Everwood. One of the things it had was a running total of the ratings for season 4. Below are the ratings that I compiled (some of the ratings were not available at press time and were, therefore, never released, at least to my knowledge, and some might just be missing; if anyone can help me find or correct any ratings, that would be great, especially the ratings for the final 2 episodes). I just think it would be nice to have all the ratings somewhere, together. Eventually, I'd like to get ratings for the earlier seasons on here.

So, without further ado, the ratings for season 4 of Everwood:

Thursdays
Code:
Airdate: O'ernight: Fast Nat'l: O'ernight Vwrs: Final Vwrs:
9/29 3.2 N/A 3.57 mil.? 3.51 mil.
10/6 3.3 N/A 4.16 mil. 4.03 mil.
10/13 3.3 N/A 4.35 mil.? 4.14 mil.
10/20 3.2 N/A 4.04 mil. 4.07 mil.
10/27 3.1 N/A 4.13 mil.? 3.91 mil.
11/3 3.0 N/A 3.54 mil. 3.59 mil.

6/5 (2-hr) 3.2 N/A 4.07 mil. 4.14 mil.
Averages
(minus the missing ratings)
Code:
Airing: O'ernight: Fast Nat'l: O'ernight Vwrs: Final Vwrs:
Thursdays 3.19 N/A 3.94 mil. 3.90 mil.
Mondays 2.94 2.32 3.75 mil. 3.75 mil.
All Season 3.11 N/A 3.86 mil. 3.83 mil.
Totals
(not averages, but sums)
Overnight (Preliminary) Rating:
Thurs Episodes: 28.7 (divide by 9 episodes to get average)
Mon Episodes: 27.3 (divide by 9 episodes to get average, as 3 are missing and the finale is averaged as 1 episode)
Season: 56 (divide by 18 episodes to get average, as 3 are missing for the season)
(I'm missing 3 episodes. Beyond that, something to keep in mind for all the numbers in this "Totals" section is that the finale was averaged as 1 episode, so there were 21 for the season instead of 22, for our purposes.)

Fast National (Preliminary) Rating:
Thurs Episodes: ? (divide by 9 episodes, when/if we find the missing fast nationals)
Mon Episodes: 25.5 (divide by 11 episodes, as 1 is missing)
Season: ? (divide by 11 episodes, as 10 are missing for the season)
(I'm missing 10 episodes)

Overnight (Preliminary) Viewers:
Thurs Episodes: 35.45 (divide by 9 episodes)
Mon Episodes: 22.47 (divide by 6 episodes, as 6 are missing)
Season: 57.92 (divide by 15 episodes, as 6 are missing for the season)

Final Number of Viewers:
Thurs Episodes: 35.06 (divide by 9 episodes)
Mon Episodes: 26.23 (divide by 7 episodes, as 5 are missing)
Season: 61.29 (divide by 16 episodes, as 5 are missing for the season)

*Final numbers are only available for viewers. I haven't ever looked for the final ratings/shares. Also, the total sums above do not include estimates for missing numbers, so they will be unusually low. Perhaps we can get this all filled in someday!

As Shadow knows, I follow the ratings for the CW and did so for the WB during it's last year or so. I have #'s for EW somewhere. I will have to dig them up and see if there is anything I can add.

I don't have any of the data, I always counted on you guys to provide them. Heh. Nice idea to get them all in one thread.

If anyone has it, I'd also like to see the chart at how we compared to the rest of the WB shows before the show was canceled, when were were sixth place and still got turfed out for lower rated shows. Yes, I'm still bitter, so I'd like to see that if anyone has it and complain all over again!

I have the ratings for all the shows during the WB's final year. Things have been quite mad here lately. 3 family members staying for 2 weeks and one living permanently. I will get to it as soon as I can.

It's a madhouse, a madhouse! No rush, of course. Just something to steam over.

With the house full of people who don't want to leave, and temps hitting 100-104 this weekend, I am definitley steaming already.

Wow that's hot as hell. Especially if humidity is involved. I am not a summer person in the least unless I'm on the water skiing or boating with the cool breeze hitting my face. Give me cold weather, please.

Wilpen, you speak my language. I am not a summer person either. I prefer fall and winter. Cold is more for me. Lol. Thankfully, it will be going down into the 70's late in the week.

Ohhh that sounds very nice. I'd take that weather in the summer anytime. I can certainly handle that.

Okay Michelle.

Yeah 100+ is just too hot. Anything over 90 bugs me. Lol. 104 tomorrow. 99 on Monday, and then a cool down. Can't wait!.

And I will be getting to the ratings I have soon, just as soon as everything else calms down around here.

So much word to not being a summer person. I can't stand the heat. The last few nights it's been 86 in the house at nights, and see, we don't have air conditioning up here in houses, it's just very rare, so basically we have to put up with it and I haaaate it. So hard to get to sleep. I love the cold. Winter is awesome. You can sit infront of the fire, have hot chocolate, so many fun things to do to warm up. If you're hot, there's basically nothing you can do to cool down. Blah!

What is rare....the air conditioning or the hot summer nights?

I can't imagine not having air conditioning! Especially on days or nights when it is so humid and the air is not moving.....therefore, opening a window does not help at all.
Do you have high humidity where you live?
