Spoiler Virgins Thread: The shock is much better when you see it, not read it!
This is a thread for everyone who stays Spoiler-Free. Spoilers are everywhere and as tempting as it is to click and find out when things are going to happen or what your favorite character is going to do in the next episode, not knowing is SO much more fun! Don't you love when something totally unexpected happens and you stare at the tv for another 30 minutes after its over completely amazed at the turn of events? I know I do...and I'm hoping I'm not alone in that!
This thread is pretty much going to be a support group for all the "spoiler virgins" or anyone who is trying their best to stay spoiler free. Its hard to avoid them sometimes, but I'm hoping if we can all support eachother, that it will be easier for us to stay away from sites that we know have spoilers, etc. What do you guys think? Do you want this thread, or is it just going to be a waste of space? __________________

Erin, I think this thread is a masterful idea. Especially since I fell off the wagon today spoilerwise and now I feel bad. What would one do at a spoiler virgins support group though? (See I don't even remember a time before spoilers...I need help. Sign me up.)

If this thread had been here a few hours ago, I would not be grinning about the info I obtained. But my victory seems empty now that I've decide to turn my life around. My roommate hates when I read ahead for shows...then absentmindedly blab it to her. I will definitely stop for pretty Bright art.  Thanks, Erin.__________________

 I'm sorry...I should have gotten online a few hours earlier!  Now, I'm not the best fanart maker...but I'm hoping that since its going to be a Bright art, that he will make it beautiful, so I won't have to do much work! Ohhh I would kill you if you were my roommate! __________________

I stopped doing it weeks ago, because it does really affect the viewing experience.
Girl, you could dress Bright up in a paper bag, and it would be beautiful.  You don't really have to make me anything. I think being a part of this group will be incentive enough to stop my spoiler whore ways. Does this include episode descriptions at tvguide.com?__________________

This thread sounds fantastic. However, I could never be a spoiler virgin. Ever.
But I will admire EVERYONE that participates on this thread all the same. I wish I could be that strong but I just don't have it in me. |

Well FINE guys! I've never really had trouble staying spoiler free...I just LOVE surprises, have forever...the only time I faultered was in the summer before season 3 of roswell and I regret it SO much...so I guess that ever since then, it has just never appealed to me to read them...*shrugs* As for the descriptions...umm...Lots of spoilers are in the gray area...like future titles, those descriptions, etc...On other spoiler virgin threads i've posted on, we decided that everyone should judge themselves...use the honor code. If you think its not spoilerish, then ok. But you know, you can't take that too far because then you start justifying things that are truly spoilerish... so just try to be honest! lol!  __________________

I could do that. As long as I don't read anything Everwood-related at tvguide.com, I should be able to resist all other spoilerish places. As long as the great conversations keep going in here, I'll be OK.

don't read the spoilers, only for the soaps and when Dawson's Creek was on the air because I had to know everything in season 6
