I think you're right, Taryn. I wonder if it's possible this was a scene that wasn't actually aired? I mean, all three of us can't really recall this scene yet we are Everwood junkies. You would think somehow one of us would know precisely what was exchanged. Hmm. This is bugging me. LOL

Well I've still only seen Season 4 once (wasn't the vow renewal in S4?) so that would explain why I might not remember this precise scene. But it's entirely possible it was from an unaired moment.

Indeed, it was in S4. The fourth season opens with Edna/Irv planning/having their vow-renewal ceremony. Ephram comes home for that... well and for Amy. LOL

So, it was the premiere of 4. Well, we can totally play detective during the rewatch when we hit 4.1. LOL
