Good point about Nina and Andy. I was spoiled when I watched the finale and I knew that Andy and Nina will end up together, but I didn't expect it to be that way.

I don't know it made me dislike Nina. It turned out that Nina was totally reckless and liar on top of that. She loved Andy, but lied to Jake and used him (well at least that's how it looked since Jake was the one being disturbed by it), sold her house to live with someone that she doesn't love and on top of that she has a kid that got used to see Jake as a father. I'm sorry, but that's not something that responsible adult person could do. In the beginning I liked a lot Nina, because she was the one to give sense to Andy (together with Ephram and Harold). In the end of the series she was even worse than Andy. She went for the worse, he for the better.

I would have preferred to be the other way around - Nina to be the one saying to Jake that she made mistake. At least this means that she thinks. This way it looked like she needed someone to tell her (Ephram and Jake) that she doesn't love Jake. And she didn't even quite get what Jake was talking about.

As for the end - this is what I kind of wanted. I wanted to see Amy, Ephram, Bright and Hannah together; Bright admitting that he was wrong about Amy and Ephram and Amy admitting that Hannah was right to tell her that they are meant to be together.

On the other hand I wanted to see Edna, Harold, Rose and the baby - which we kind of saw. I wanted scene with Andy, Nina, Delia and Sam discussing the wedding.

Come to think alternative finale would be time jump to the wedding. They can all be in the same place. Yeah, that would be good final scene.

I will forever hate how Jake had to be the one to break things off with Nina. I hate that scene where Nina is literally willing to stay with him! It was Jake who had to force her to see the light that she wanted to be with Andy. That is one scene I will never love and always find quite annoying. I also wish Nina and Jake would have broken up long before they did. I would have preferred seeing more Andy/Nina leading up to their happy ending. I know there was a time crunch seeing as the stupid CW was kicking our show off the air (FOOLS!) but I still wish this would have gone down differently and I certainly wish Nina didn't look so passive and wishy-washy!

But yes, I loved Nina throughout the series except during the final moments of her relationship with Jake. I found it absolutely ridiculous how she was so passive and looked plain stupid sitting there not taking control of her life and what she truly wanted. Of course I loved the moments with Andy later on, though.
