Maybe we could also add those replies to the profiles of the posters !! That's super. I'm trying to work on my replies :)

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

I think it was sometime in 2004, when I came home, sat down in front of the TV and Everwood was on and I just kept starting at the magic happening there on screen :D

02) What made you first start watching?

Somehow I just couldn't go away, it was one of those moments when you know you're onto something great, something extraordinary, when there's just no guessing. Just like Irv once said.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

I'll just pick season 1, although ranking can never be applied to something flawless. I loved it because what E/A shared there, Ephram's pining for Amy, unreturned love is something that is really familiar to me.. and of course all that other jazz that came with it. Father/Son relationship. The beginning of everything. That is basically why.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1 | 3 | 4 | 2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram. Well what can I say. He plays the piano just like me. He hates his father, just like me (although for me it's a stepfather), he pines for a girl just like me, he writes essays that leave your mouth open when you read it (just like me), he can make light of things even when they suck (sth I want to do), he writes songs for girls just like me, he has same views about music as I do, everything he does is purely and simply wonderful. He's something I partly am and something I want to be. Although being like some guy on a TV show is rather weird.
06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?
Carl Feeney was rather.. gay.:D Also I didn't like the way Magilla bullied Delia. But most of all, I didn't like Tommy Callahan, 'cause he's the representation of today's youth, who regularly go to parties (sth I strongly dislike for some reason), drink and smoke, do drugs, then snag some pretty girl, in this case it was Amy. And I always wanted Amy to be with Ephram, so that basically says it all.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is: Ephram and Amy. Their love. Their passion. Their everything.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Tommy and Amy. Amy's depression could've been without him. Would've shown how lone and helpless she really was after Colin's untimely death.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram and Amy. What they share is what I want to share with a girl some day. Spiritual bond. Being there for the other one, even when it hurts.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Tommy and Amy. They just never felt right even if they wanted to. Tommy and Amy are a no-no, it's written all over the wall.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

I started out in the summer and finished in the beginning of September (that was my first full run-through of the episodes). Now, later I just watch my favourite scenes from time to time. I work out some kind of a favourite, and then I watch it like for a week, then I get another favourite, and do the same. Usually it's some E/A scene, but also there has been the Ephram and Madison goodbye scene from Last Looks, which I just loved because of the music and its importance for Ephram, cause the next girl he would have will be Amy, and his first time with Amy, and it was going to be great :)

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most
interested in following?

I would definitely like to see more of Kyle, his relationship with Ephram. I pictured a scene where Kyle would come back from Juilliard, after his graduation, to visit Ephram and Amy in their new home, and Ephram and Kyle could talk about piano, Ephram could tell something about his teacher's, Will for example. And I'd like Ephram to succeed in this piano school thing, teaching little Lizst's and Brahm's :)
Also, Andy and Nina would be interesting to watch, but I wouldn't like to see anything tragic again, heartbraking. For once it could all just be positive storylines, with some kind of problems, but not anything too lifechanging for any of the characters. Hannah and Bright could reexperience falling in love again, like a new beginning.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

It's just sad the way some people don't recognize magic. I wouldn't insult them, I'd probably express my love for the show in the purest way imaginable. Cause I can't really make them take Everwood on their schedule. Of course I don't like it, but I'd try to prove them that this was their worst decision like.. ever.

14) Best looking actor?

Gregory Smith.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily Van Camp.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale? Yes, of course I am.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

This has no answer. Every episode from 1-89. I can't really choose, honestly. There are so many great ones out there.

18) Most talented actor?

Gregory Smith.

19) Most talented actress?

Emily Van Camp.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

They should tune in and watch, because Everwood is a masterpiece, it's something that just gets your attention once you glance upon it. And when you do, you just keep looking, you love it from the first moment and not until you've seen the final episode do you realize why you love it so much. There's something that just gets to you, and it's in every single episode, it inspires you, leaves you with afterthoughts, its music is simply amazing, and the dialogue is breathtaking.. what they say, how they express what they feel and how it all turns out in the end. You grow to love everything about it. And once you do, you look back wondering what it was that you loved. You realize there's so much that you can't even remember, and you want to see it again, just to reexperience what fascinated you on the first viewing of every single episode.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time: Amanda/Andy. Scratch that, Amanda/Everything. The sight of her made me want to kill a chicken. The storyline, the character, everything involving her was horrendous to watch.

:look:

ShannonNicole 10-31-2006 02:59 AM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

the wonderful pilot episode of season 1 when it made its debut

02) What made you first start watching?

i just saw it being advertised and felt like it had something different and more real so i had to tune in. i was aware of gregory and knew he was very talented as well and was interested in seeing him acting

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

season 1...it just had me captivated each episode especially with standouts like the pilot and season finale and episode 20...the writing is just outstanding

wow tough but i'd say probably 1, 3, 4, 2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

madison. hard to say why but i guess i just can sum it up that i'm an ephramy fan :) i just never liked the madison stuff personally

07) Favorite storyline of all time is: one word...ephramy :)

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

andy and amanda...ugh

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why: ephram and amy. they are soulmates and that is hard to find these days. gregory and emily played the ephram and amy chemistry flawlessly..you could really feel it

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why: andy and amanda

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland? yep of course

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

all of the following...
-ephram and amy being together...possibly down the road getting engaged
-nina and andy FINALLY getting together! i wanted to see them dance at their wedding :( and then ephram and amy dancing there together too
-delia continuing to grow up and it would have been nice to see her and Nina's relatonship grow
-amy and hannah as roommates in college
-bright and hannah...not a huge fan of them as a couple but interested in seeing where the writers would have taken them
and jeez so much more

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

STUPID!!!!

14) Best looking actor? Gregory

15) Best looking actress? Emily

17) Favorite episode of all time? wow tough..i couldnt choose

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

everwood is the one show that truly makes me forget i'm watching tv. i mean sometimes it feels so real watching it that it seems as if the characters are family and everwood is a real place :) the writing is OUTSTANDING..can't say that enough. it is a show that all ages can enjoy and enjoy it together :) my mom and i loved watching EW together ;) and of course the cast never ceased to amaze me at their passion for continually giving amazing performances every week for everwood...hands down best cast on tv...ever.

Raja 10-31-2006 04:35 AM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

First episode that aired.

02) What made you first start watching?

Liked Emily in Glory Days which was a WB show that aired the year before.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

First season. The conflict and issues seemed natural and didn't start growing stale as they began to by the end.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1-2-3-4

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Laynie. Cynical but sweet. Honest without standing on a high horse and being hypocritical.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Hannah. Where do I even start? Took over the show. Was a meak plaything for Amy who needed honest friends to challenge her not tagalongs. Only showed a backbone when she wanted to express her intolerance or her fear of trying anything out of the ordinary. Would've made a fine role player.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

Colin and how he cast a shadow over everyone.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

The affair. We just got over what Andy did with Madison. Why can't they give us a breather from the melodrama?

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Laynie and Ephram. They had an instant connection in making fun of Everwood. And both seem to make the place more fun for the other. Well.. while it lasted.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Andie and Anne Heche. For reasons specified above. And Madison + Ephram did nothing for me. She seemed too bossy to both Ephram and Andy.. yet she herself was 20 years tops, maybe even a teenager herself. And then she gets knocked up and mires the show up.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

No.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

The one where Hannah leaves. (Oh why didnt she?)

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

You did nothing to promote your new drama Runaway. I understand wanting to have new shows. I can even understand cancelling Everwood for that very reason since a network with mostly aging and declining shows is a dangerous thing. But if you had no plans to help your new shows and just wanted to tell people where their old shows were moving to.. Why didn't you just take Everwood? It was a solid performer and with Runaway orphaned before it even aired that show unfortunately had no chance of ever being known to people nevermind watched.

14) Best looking actor?

John Beasley as a disembodied narrator.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily VanCamp.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Bleh. Pretty much what I expected. Didn't knock me out.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

The Last of Summer. Absolutely perfectly done with a shocking ending no one saw coming.

18) Most talented actor?

Older - Treat Williams
Younger - Mike Erwin

19) Most talented actress?

Emily VanCamp

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

It was well written. It doesn't matter what a show is about as long as there are writers and actors to make it work. And this show worked.

Augusta 10-31-2006 09:15 PM

Oh. Wow. Great idea, Michelle! I'll have to come back later with my answers ;)

Coffee 10-31-2006 10:35 PM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

First Episode on TV

02) What made you first start watching?

Heard about it and it sounded interesting. And then I saw a preview of the pilot and that looked promising.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Season 1. Hard to explain. It was just fantastic.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1/3/4/2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram. How he grew up during the series, from a rebellious Teenie to a young man..

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Hannah. Way to much attention and storyline, to selfish and thought she's perfect.. Simply annoying.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

I guess that's the Ephramy one

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Andy/Amanda. Just useless and completely senseless and a waste of time.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:
E/A, there's just that little something between them.
But I also liked the Andy/Linda one. Andy acted like a Teen with all the balloons and flowers he sent to her :)

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Amy/Tommy, just couldn't hack him and Madison/Ephram, just didn't seem to be right.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?
No. cause where I live, there are no reruns on but I watch it sometimes on DVD.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

- How the relationship between Andy and Nina and Ephram/Amy continued.
- Hannah leaving Everwood.
- If Linda would ever come back
- Delia and her horse and how she has her first crush

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

Why did they first pick Everwood up and then, because of the brilliant ratings of the final of 7th heaven, dropped it.
We can accept that Series have to be cancelled but in what way??

14) Best looking actor?
Treat Williams but Gregory Smith is also cute :)

15) Best looking actress?
Emily van Camp

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Yes and No. I found, they scrambeld way to much into to little time. The E/A and N/A Story should have happened already way earlier. And I didn't lilke that Jake was the one who told Nina she should go to Andy and not Nina who had the courage to tell Jake that she doesn't love him..
But oif course, I liked, that it gave a happy end..

17) Favorite episode of all time?

I liked Blind Faith but so many others were also great. Can't really pick one.

18) Most talented actor?

Gregory Smith

19) Most talented actress?

Emily van Camp and Vivien Cardone

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

If you like a well written Drama with some sense of humor, intersting Storylines and real problems and not everyone who's perfect, then tune in.

But actually, just tune in and convince yourself, what a great Show Everwood is.

Augusta 10-31-2006 10:48 PM

Back with my big huge list :)

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?
As soon as I saw the previews/trailers for the 'new show on the WB' I was hooked. Plotline looked good, the guy was hot. So I tuned in the night it aired, and was instantly hooked.

02) What made you first start watching?
See above answer :)

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?
Season 1, hands down. BEcause of it's originality, and amazingness. There's a genuine magic in that first season.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:
1 | 4 | 3 | 2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?
It's incredibly hard to pick just one. They are all amazing in their own induvidual ways, and they compliment eachother as a group so greatly. However, if I really had to choose, I think Ephram would be my favorite character. This is because he is/once an outcast, yet he lived with it gracefully. He is an amazingly gifted pianist. He's hot ;) He is able to think quick on his feet. His humor is contageous. He is such a romantic at heart.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?
I wasn't a huge fan of Jake. His presence was a little random; 3 doctors in one small town. Two of which were once "big wigs" to randomly ended up there. A little far fetched. But then he started dating Nina, and I wasn't so okay with that. Then later we find out he's got a temper, and is a pill user and whatnot. I dunno... I've never really liked him.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:
The entire E/A romance. I don' think an explination is needed here, but I'll give one anyway! I love this storyline because it's so beautiful, and so real. Ephram and Amy's love story wasn't simple; thye didn't get together in the first season and live happily ever after. They went through many hard times, both as friends and as a couple, and yet still made it through it all together in the end.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:
There is a definate tie betwen Andy/Amanda affair and the Madison/pregnancy storyline. I think though, I'll go with the latter. I can't stand this storyline because I'm an Ephram/Amy shipper, so of coarse I won't like it, but also because it was unnecessary. It only resulted in the breakup of Amy/Ephram, the almost complete destruction of Ephram/Andy's relationship, and definately tore Ephram from the right track.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Ephram and Amy, of coarse. I love them because they are just magical and amazing together. Whether it be a romantic scene, or a sad/fight scene, they were amazing. They are just two people who found their soulmate early in life. They didn't always remain together, they weren't 'fake'. They had their obsticles and managed to live through them.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Madison/Ephram. Bah. Because they were so mismatched. It was obvious that Ephram went into that relationship still rebounding over Amy. Madison had stuff going on. Not to mention the stages they were at in life individually. It wasn't the *age* thing, more so than their life experiences and whatnot. I could go on and on, but the bottom line: not a fan of them.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?
I honestly try as often as I can. Sometimes, I won't have time to sit and watch it, but I keep my TV on. For the ratings ;)

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

The continuation of the relationship repair/build up between Ephram and his father. Bright/Hannah's friendship/relationship progression. Delia's transformation into a teenager. Andy and Nina's marriage/ life together. Amy/Ephram's relationship. Ephram's piano involvment. Amy's college path. Bright's life path. Rose/Harold and the baby. Where Edna was going in life next.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?
I would tell them thye made a horrible mistake in deciding not to pick up Everwood for a fifth season. I would point out just how porly they are doing with their decision to keep 7th over Everwood. I would end it with something like, "Your loss. Everwood is too good for your network and is better off having ended as it did."

14) Best looking actor?

Oh gosh.. there are SO many! Greg Smith, Chad Michael Murray, Julian McMahnon, Nicholas Brendon, Joshua Jackson, Jason Behr, Skeet Ulrich, George Clooney, the list goes on, honestly!

15) Best looking actress?
Again.. my list is never ending! Emily VanCamp, Mika Boorem, Holly Marie Combs, Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, Michelle Williams, Shiri Appleby, etc...

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?
From a Grenie's point of view, most definately. Nothing I could complain about with them! However, there were some things that I felt could have been done better or were rushed, such as Nina/Andy. They've had the set up since day one, but it wasn' till the final episode that they actually got together. The realiaztion and engagment all in one episode seemed too rushed. There wasn't any bonding time between Andy/Sam, which I would have liked to see. Can' think of anything else off the top of my head!

17) Favorite episode of all time?
Pilot, hands down.

18) Most talented actor?
Gregory Smith

19) Most talented actress?
Drew Barrymore, Michelle Williams, Reese Witherspoon, Holly Marie Combs

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?
Because Everwood is a family show, but so much more than that. It's not cheesy like 7th Heaven, and it's not filled with drama and angst like One Tree Hill. It's funny, sad, lovable, etc etc. It's a perfectly blended show with an awesome cast. The love story between characters Amy and Ephram will be sure to draw you in. (etc etc)

...Phew!

Yeah we definitely could. :)

I'm loving the responses. So interesting and fun to read. I'll get mine together soon as well.

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

I started with "A Thanksgiving Tale", on Easyview thanks to a recommendation from a friend (who I owe so much to for forcing me to watch). I tuned into it halfway through, I remember it being when Delia talks to Ephram and Amy about getting the different kind of ingredients or something. Then, I got the rest of the eppys from the 'net and fell in love with the show and I've been watching ever since! :) It was just the characters and how unique it was from any other show on television and the comedy and how I could cry over the show. I had never really been much of a crying viewer, only Buffy could make me do it, but Everwood has now started something and I cry all the time! Damn you, Everwood! :)

02) What made you first start watching?

I guess the way-too long first answer hopefully explains that. ;)

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Season one. The greatest, most consistent season of television I've ever seen. It was just perfection. How it all flowed together, from beginning to end, it was about Andy and this town and his son and Amy. It all connected so perfectly. There was really only one poor episode (Everwood Confidential) that still had some amazing moments. It had "The Unveiling", "The Pilot", "Home", "Episode 20", which are easily the big four classics of any Everwood fan, with so many other amazing episodes.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1
4
3
2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Andy Brown. I love the journey he made to be a good father; how hard he tried, how he changed EVERYTHING to get to know his son. I love how great of a doctor he is, his passion for helping people. Most of all, though, I love his flaws. I just LOVE how he's so clueless and awkward he is with woman (Nina especially in season one and three), I love how he makes horrible mistakes (and tries to fix them), I love how he struggles to be a good father, struggles to find a new love, struggles to ask for help and I love the ego. ;) He's just so flawed and real, but he tries so very hard and most of the time, he ends up succeeding because he never gives up.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Madison. Because of the horrible storyline that began with her (le baby). I just thought the character didn't bring anything but negativity to the show. The only positive moment I can think of is when Ephram called her and apologized, but that says more about Ephram than it does about Madison.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

Andy and Ephram's journey to become father and son. Second, and it was only like two or three episodes, would be Andy and his father and them trying to make a relationship. Andy was so great there.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Madison/Ephram baby drama. Just too soap-operaish and typical teen drama for Everwood. Sure, Everwood made some good moments out of such an awful idea, but it wasn't my Everwood that would even do a storyline like it.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Amy and Ephram. I'm not so into the romantic couples, but this one just worked. Great chemistry, great ending, they were meant to be. I liked their banter together, I liked even when they weren't together, they were there for each other. It just worked.

And I did like Colin and Amy, Amy's dedication to him was very sweet and the storyline was so well-written. Amy ended up loving Ephram more, but I liked the idea of how into her first love she was.

I also liked Harold and Rose. Great marriage.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Andy/Amanda. It made Andy so unlikeable to be having this affair with a patient that can't even move/talk. It was just sick of Andy to do. They redeemed him, but damn, that made me dislike him so much.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

Been watching a few. Mostly waiting for season two to start, though. I watch the DVD all the time when I'm bored, so I kind of know these episdoes backwards and forwards by now. I'm watching "Home" tonight, though, on DVD.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

Nina/Andy as a couple. How they deal with living under the same roof, living with two kids, especially Nina's son (total mind-blank right now). How Andy deals with his first real relationship after saying goodbye to Julia.

Kyle, absolutely. My favourite guest character that isn't Colin.

How Delia gets along with Andy, especially with Nina there.

Does Ephram go back to piano? Or does he really stick with being a teacher? I don't think they were done with this one.

Harold/Edna living under the same roof. Yes, great comedy, but Harold being there for Edna would be so sweet. :)

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

I've ranted enough about this, so I'm going to keep it short: your loss, CW, your loss. You had one of the best television shows on television, and you threw it away for more teen trash and reality television.

14) Best looking actor?

Treat Williams. I wish I could grow a beard like that! ;) C'mon, that guy looks awesome.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily Van Camp. Just WOW! :)

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Yes. Ephram and Amy had to get together at the end, so that's a big thing. But we saw the beginnings of Andy's new journey. He finally succeeded at becoming a good father after some horrible mistakes, now it's his journey to become a good husband. Delia getting her horse, awesome. Harold and Rose, together and facing a new obstacle. Bright showing why he's such an amazing guy, as stupid as some of the things he does. I could've used a liiiiitttle bit more Andy and Ephram moments, but the whole series was about them, so I didn't mind that they focused on new journeys.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Probably "Home". Just the perfect close to the perfect season. Every scene is perfectly written. There are so many amazing moments (Bright and Colin's scene in the diner, Colin saying "I love you", the montage, Ephram finding out what made Andy so amazing as a doctor and finding out why they moved to Everwood) and amazing lines. It's just...perfect. I really can't think of one thing, even something minor, that I dislike even a bit. *hugs "Home"*

18) Most talented actor?

Hmm, that's very tough. You have one of the best actors of his age, Gregory Smith. You have the amazing and underrated Tom Amandes and the amazing Treat Williams. They're all so very talented, it's really a tie, but I guess I have to pick sommmmeone.

I'd probably pick Treat for the range he had to show. From being a proud Dad, to being an angry father, a scared father, a conflicted lover, a man breaking down over the loss of his wife, the great comedy with Tom Amandes, a man asking for forgiveness, to a famous doctor that can speak about all these complicated procedures and the list goes on and on.

19) Most talented actress?

Emily Van Camp. Perfect, every single time.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

Argh, I suck at these. The characters, Greg Berlanti says it so well in my sig, that the characters were REAL people, people you got addicted to and just had to see every week. I loved the ability of the show to take two sides of an issue, and let the characters explore what they would do, instead of the writers trying to push some "right" stance to take; there wasn't often a right stance, just a stance that happened to work based on the character's experiences. The fact that it's a family show (but with an edge), but one that can deal with such issues in ways that doesn't preach is amazing. Argh, that doesn't even begin to sum it up.

This better work! This is my, like, 30th try posting this.

Well since everyone has stated most of what I would have answered, I'll be a bit briefer in my responses:

01) When did you first start watching Everwood? Premiere of season 3

02) What made you first start watching? I had the TV on the WB and saw the recap of season 2 going into season 3 and thought it looked interesting so I gave it a try and loved it ever since. :)

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much? Season 1 just because it was the best season ever on TV IMO. Best writing, acting, storylines, etc.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite: Season 1, Season 2, Season 4, Season 3.

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character? Amy because she had faults just like real teens do and because of it she was easy to relate to. She was also pretty, right Michelle. ;)

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character? Madison because she was a gross seducing babysitter who lied to the teen boy she slept with when she didnt tell him she was pregnant. So gross.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is: Ephram/Amy's priceless love story of course . :D

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time: Anything doing with the gross babysitter.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why: Ephram/Amy because their story was filled with so much passion, chemistry, and realness it felt like more than just a couple on TV.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why: Ephram and the gross babysitter because she was revolting and took advantage of a child. God she pissed me off.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland? Of course. :D :D That's if I ever get my TV back. :(

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following? Amy's career choice and Planned Parenthood storyline. Edna's longer term reaction to Irv's death, would she date again or how would she be affected? Seeing Andy and Nina engagement and relationship take place.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them? Dawn you're a moron who will get fired by making horrible horrible idiotic decisions that you're paying for obviously. How the woman didn't want to take a well established steady rated show in it's prime I'll never understand.

14) Best looking actor? Greg Smith

15) Best looking actress? Emily vanCamp, Michelle's hot goddess. ;)

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale? Yes, couldn't have been better tied up or written IMO. Too bad we didn't get to see the stuff play out because the CW sucks!

17) Favorite episode of all time? The Pilot

18) Most talented actor? Greg Smith

19) Most talented actress? Emily VanCamp

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say? Well no one I know would tune in because they all suck LOL, but I guess if I would try to convince them I would say for the family drama that is the most well written story I've ever watched along with the romantic pairings, also for the fantastic acting (no one on this show holds anyone back, every actor is amazing) and the humor that is mixed fantastically with the drama even if the drama overshadows it, the humor is still there and amazing. I would tell them to disregard it being on the WB because it's nothing like all the other shows, it's in a league of its own which is probably why the stupid CW couldn't appreciate its uniqueness sadly. :(

Jerry D 11-02-2006 09:23 AM

Great topic idea Michelle. :)

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?
From the very first episode.

02) What made you first start watching?
Because I always thought that Treat Williams was an excellent actor, and I saw previews for the show that showed me this show was going to be very different from what we normally see on television.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?
Season One, because it was the season that started it all, but I liked all of the seasons for the most part.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:
1, 3, 4, 2.

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?
Andy, because I just loved seeing the journey he went through over the years, I loved how flawed and human he was, and I especially loved seeing how much he grew from his devastating loss to become a caring and compassionate man.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?
Hannah, because she was boring and judgmental, and the writers wasted far too much time focusing on her character. Also Jake, because he was a totally unnecessary character and a waste of time, and I hated him and Nina as a couple.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:
The romance of Ephram and Amy.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:
The affair of Andy and Amanda. Also the whole Madisongate debacle.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Ephram and Amy, because they were the most perfectly realized romantic couple that I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Ephram and Madison, because they were totally mismatched and she acted like she was ashamed of him. Also Tommy and Amy, because he was a total loser who dragged her down to his level. Lastly, Bright and Hannah, because they were mismatched and boring, and they wasted screen time that could have been devoted to Ephram and Amy or even Ephram and Bright, who had a great friendship.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?
No.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?
Andy and Nina, to see how they would have related as a couple, especially since we knew that Sam had loved Jake, and hopefully seeing Ephram and Amy together and happy.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?
That they were out of their minds to not renew this wonderful show, and that I’m glad that 7th Heaven is tanking. Also, that I hope their entire network fails.

14) Best looking actor?
Treat Williams and Greg Smith.

15) Best looking actress?
Emily Van Camp.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?
Absolutely. The only thing I would have changed was to have Nina tell Jake that she loved Andy and that she couldn’t be with him, instead of having Jake make the decision for her.

17) Favorite episode of all time?
That’s a tough one, because there were so many wonderful episodes on this show, but I’d have to say The Reflex.

18) Most talented actor?
Treat Williams and Greg Smith.

19) Most talented actress?
Emily Van Camp.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?
I would say that Everwood is the most wonderful television show that you’d ever have the pleasure to see, because it combines touching drama, wonderful characters, and intriguing stories that really make you care and want to tune in every week. The acting and the writing were superb, equal attention was given to all the characters, and the dynamics between all the characters were incredibly engaging and they really evolved over the years. In short, I would tell anyone that asked that if they watched Everwood, I can guarantee that they won’t be disappointed.

lafcia 11-02-2006 11:47 AM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

Almost a month ago...I watched all 89 eps in about 2 weeks or so...once you get into it you can never stop!

02) What made you first start watching?

I've heard about the show last year and I wanted to start watching it but I could not find any eps, plus I've had other show I was into so I just skipped it..Then over a month ago they aired Kids In America in Poland and seeing Greg I remembered about Everwood. I also was kinda disappointed with the shows I've been watching and I've decided to start with a new one. Boy, was that a smart move!

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Well, Everwood rocks in general but I think S1 has EVERYTHING that a great season should have. Everything's perfect there. Everything's well balanced and it allows us to sunk into those amazing plots of every single character. People in the industry should watch this season and learn how those things shoud be done.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1, 4, 3, 2

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Ephram...I've watched many, many shows in my life but I never was lucky enough to come across such extraordinary character like this one. The idea of creating Ephram was a genius thing to do and giving him such amazing writing and intense storyline was something very rare if not one of the kind. However Ephram would not be THIS Ephram if not for this wonderful and mindblowing acting of Gregory Smith! Watching the series I could totally feel HE was Ephram for those 4 years, giving this boy his mind, body and soul, not JUST playing the part but really getting INTO IT! It's actually beyond my understanding how a person can devote himself into something like this and not be fake for a single second. It's something that does not happen a lot. Ephram is Love!

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

I'm thinking Madison but as much as I hated  her for messing with Amy's Ephram and putting a dark shadow on their relationship I think Hannah and Jake are higher on my list of least favorite charaters...Both just too annoying as for my taste..

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

Ephram / Amy all the way!

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Let's fire the babysitter! Now!

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram / Amy - because they were the most amazing couple I've ever seen, because they had this connections that couldn't be broken by the most horrible things they were going through, because the devotion they've had for each other is something that touches your heart, because even when apart they still were together, because the love they've had for each other could not be described by any words coz it wouldn't be enough, because they're simply one soul divided into two bodies!

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Why baby sitter still works here?!?!?

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

I've only watched the entire series like a week ago and I'm mostly rewatching bits and pieces now (Ephramy mainly) but I already started rewatching full eps of S1...

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

I would be ALWAYS interested in Ephram / Amy and later I'd love to see how Andy and Nina's relationship would evolve.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

You cut Everwood, bad ratings will cut you!

14) Best looking actor?

Greg has a whole package!

15) Best looking actress?

Emily all the way! She's beautiful!

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

I am. I've got everything I wanted...Perfect closure!

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Tough one...as I said I've only watched the series once but if I HAD to give one now I'd say...no, I can't...ok..#1! Pilot rocked!!!

18) Most talented actor?

Greg blows your mind when you see him onscreen! He's sooo talented it almost touches a genius level. No, wait! He's already there. This guy will go places in life!

19) Most talented actress?

Emily is just as great as Greg...Totally, unbelievably stunning!

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

Well besides explaing the general storyline I'd say that if they're looking for something that will change their lives - Everwood is it! That it will touch them at so many levels they were not aware even exited in them. That the show is amazingly written and even more amazingly brought to the screen by extraordinary actors who would make them feel like they're not just watching the show but actually living in it!...
That once they'll go Everwood, they could never go back!

The Crow 11-02-2006 04:08 PM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

I watched the show casually for the first 8 or so episodes, missing parts of some of them, but I eventually became irreversibly hooked during the reruns that showed in the Christmas hiatus.

02) What made you first start watching?

I actually noticed the title of the show because I'd just finished reading this book, Strangewood. I was hoping that Everwood was a creepy fantasy type show like Strangewood was, but I was disappointed that it wasn't. I liked Treat Williams though, so I caught most of the pilot.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

The first season was just so well put together and excellently acted, that I'd have to go with that one. I liked every season for different reasons, but overall I can't think of anything better than season 1. Of course, that could be because it is the only one I have on DVD, so it is fresher in my mind.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1, 2, 3, 4

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Favorite main character: Bright. He was the character that had the most growth. He started as a cookie cutter, cardboard jock jerk, and ended up as one of the more interesting and multi-faceted characters on the show.

Favorite secondary character: Irv. I was heartbroken when they ended his narration, and I was doubly heartbroken when he died. Why couldn't it have been Amanda?

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Least favorite main character: Nina. I didn't mind her at first, but she just started grating on my nerves. The straw that broke my back was when she told Andy that she broke up with Jake at the airport. That was a very distorted way to see what actually happened.

Least favorite secondary character: Amanda. Her storyline was appalling, and I never really liked her character that much. I didn't see why Andy would have risked what he did to be with her.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

Hmmm. I'd say the favorite storyline was the eventual reuniting of Amy and Ephram in season 2. After they'd moved so far apart, it was great to see how easily they could come back together. Plus, when Ephram found her in the seat next to his on the plane...it was one of the best moments on the show.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Hands down the Amanda/Andy storyline. It dropped Andy from my favorite character to one of my least favorite. Luckily he redeemed himself somewhat in season 4.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

I likes me some Harold and Rose, but Ephram/Amy is my all time favorite couple on this show. Even with my momentary Jailbait diversion, at the end of the day I'm a Greenie. Andy and Linda come in third.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Andy/Amanda: Do I need to list the reasons this pairing disgusted me again? Amy/Tommy: I never saw any chemistry, and Tommy always seemed like he was more interested in corrupting Amy than loving her.
Andy/Nina: I just felt like this couple was being forced on me in the end. At first I wanted them together, but I didn't in the end.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

Whenever I can remember it is on.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

I liked the Madison/Ephram relationship, so I would have been interested in the triangle that would have resulted if she'd returned to Everwood, plus the repercussions between her and Andy. I'd liked to have seen Andy and Nina mesh their two families, and deal with the fallout of Sam missing Jake, who he'd grown quite attached to.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

That they are, of course, idiots, and I'd ask if they wished they had a decent performer like Everwood in place of the recently cancelled Runaway.

14) Best looking actor?

I'd say Treat Williams.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily VanCamp, followed by Sara Lancaster.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

For the most part. I was still miffed that Jake and Nina were given the shaft, but I realize that most people were rooting for Andy/Nina.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

Episode 20, the abortion episode, has always been the most emotionally resonant and stellarly acted episodes of any television show.

18) Most talented actor?

I'd say Gregory Smith. He did amazing things with his role.

19) Most talented actress?

All of them had their moments, but Emily Van Camp is the one who most consistently wowed me. Her slow descent into oblivion during season 2 was one of the best acting jobs I've seen.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

I'd tell them that Everwood is all about the experience. It's about the excellent acting, the well crafted episodes, and the smartly written scripts. It's about watching the realistic interaction of a distinctly dysfunctional family, and the dysfunctionality of a distinctly 'American' family. It's about reaching amazing heights and experiencing the lowest lows. But most of all, it's about redemption and how everyone not only deserves it but can attain it.

lafcia 11-02-2006 04:28 PM

I'm reading what you guys have written here and I'm so loving it! Everwood fans are the greatest!

The Crow 11-03-2006 07:32 AM

I really shouldn't read all the 'Least favorite character' and 'Least favorite couple' stuff. All sorts of Madison hating going on there.

 Yeah, Alan, there isn't a lot of Madison love at this board! ;)

I just didn't like the whole idea of Ephram and Madison, because they just never worked due to their age difference, and the whole idea of a kid (and Ephram was a kid at that point) hooking up with his sister's babysitter was rather sordid and borderline illegal! ;) Also, throwing in the pregnancy storyline created a ticking timebomb that hung over Season Four, and when it went off, some relationships that we really had come to cherish were temporarily destroyed, and that made me, for one, very unhappy, so I think that a lot of the anger we all felt focused on Madison.

The Crow 11-03-2006 03:56 PM

Hehe. I'm used to it all. I kept my Jailbait hand strong.

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?
I catched the first season on a french network and was instantly hooked. It then got off the air I believe after the first season.
I followed the season then reading transcripts, watching caps and people reviews and I then began watching again when I got a good *cough* internet access *cough*, It was "Unspoken Truth" and I instantly were drawn back into the show and couldn't believe how good it was.
Never missed an episode after that. (I only catched with the entire season 2 when Season 3 was airing)

02) What made you first start watching?
I believe it was a boring sunday afternoon where I happen to turn the TV on and catched this new show's "Pilot". I'm very grateful for boring sundays since then ;)

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?
It's very hard for me to pick a season cause I really love them all because I loved seeing all characters evolve and grow.
But I think I'll pick Season 1 because it's just special and unique. Kind of a little movie in itself. :)

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:
Honestly, I love them all equally for everything they brought us...

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?
Ephram.
I don't know why but I just love him to death. I always tend to love the vulnerable and sensible character so that's probably one of the main reason. I just rooted for him instantly, and couldn't believe how grown up he was for his age, I always loved his relation with the piano, and of course, the relationship with his dad. Most of all, I just adored to witness his growth from the pilot to the finale.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?
mmm...let's see. I would probably go for Tommy because he was just boring, I couldn't care less about him.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:
Aside from the Ephramy love story, my favorite stoyline would be the story about Ephram & Piano :)
And Colin's story was pretty moving too.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Amanda/Andy.... HELLO !! The only time I fast forwarded during an Everwood episode...
I didn't really liked Bright/hannah either but they were less annoying.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Ephram/Amy because their love story is pure and beautiful, it was built and told beautifully and most of the time realistically. They've grown together and learned how to love each other for the worst and the best. I cared for them so much. Magnificient.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:
Amanda/Andy, Tommy/Amy ...

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?
Sadly, I don't live in a country where Everwood is airing so I do my own little marathon using my computer. :D

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?
I would have loved to see Andy/Nina develop, struggle with going from friends to lovers, would have been funny I'm sure.
The new dynamic with Harold/Edna also.
And of course, more developpement of Ephram & Amy, even Bright and see what they decided for their future.
Basically, anything they would have thrown, I would have loved to watch... :)

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?
You mean outside of "You morons !!!!" ???

Here's what I wrote the CW when I thought the show got cancelled... :

For the last four years, Everwood managed to tell stories about families and relationships in the most amazing way. The storytelling doesn't focuses on easy and expected dramas but rather
explore the difficulties of life and relationships with a very rare sense of reality. The characters are always portrayed with qualities and flaws which make them even more human to our eyes.
We've watched them grow and make mistakes, we've felt for them when they were dealing with emotionnal breakdown, we've shared their joy when they were in love and enjoying the beauty of life.

The show is handled by a gifted team of writers who manages to touch deeply into our hearts, and the cast of this show is simply incredible. Treat Williams, Gregory Smith, Tom Amandes and Emily VanCamp to name a few, bring their characters to life with an intensity and subtlety making the stories even more moving.

The show has this ability to drag the audience deeply into the story by creating a unique atmosphere and incredibly realistic and moving storylines.

I could write pages about why the show would deserve to air but I will just leave it at this : Everwood speaks to the bottom of my heart and there has been no other show in my life that I wouldn't want to miss every week. This is the one. It has been said many times that Everwood is the best family drama on TV and it is true.
I know Everwood appeals to a very large audience from children to adults. With just a little promotion Everwood could do excellently on your network. I would certainely watch Season 5 if yo
would just decide to continue with this incredible show.

I hope you'll consider what I've said here, and perhaps consider bringing back Everwood sometime midseason. There are millions of fans of the show, who you've disappointed immensely, by replacing Everwood with a show that seems to already be past it's prime.

14) Best looking actor?
Greg Smith.

15) Best looking actress?

Emily VanCamp

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?
duh !
I wish they had a little more time to resolve the storylines but considering the situation, I think they did an incredible job and it was perfect. :)

17) Favorite episode of all time?
is that possible to choose one ? The answer is no.
My favourites would be : The Pilot, Home, Till death do us part, Last of Summer, The day is done, The reflex, Surprise, Fate Accompli, The next Step, Goodbye Love, ForEverwoood....
18) Most talented actor?
Greg Smith, Tom Amandes, Treat Williams

19) Most talented actress?

Emily VanCamp

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?
I did manage to get all my family hooked to the show and how I managed that was by saying that this show is simply unique. It speaks to everyone because it's a story told very realistically, with characters you can totally relate too. The atmosphere is magical, the writing is excellent and the acting is outstanding. Finally, I'd tell them "watch the pilot" which is the best way to explain to people what the show is about. :)

jediwands 11-12-2006 07:22 PM

01) When did you first start watching Everwood?

The season finale of 2.

02) What made you first start watching?

I was keenly aware of how great this show was just based on hearing the critics rave endlessly along with many Dawson's Creek posters talking about the show but I was hesitant to get involved with another show, given the drama I went through with the lower quality Dawson's Creek so I kept delaying tuning in. What honestly caused me to watch was whenever I heard Jerry's words about the show. I just knew I had to tune in given how I understood he knew exactly what it was like enduring Dawson's Creek for so many years AND yet he was still tuning in and watching Everwood so I came to the conclusion that it couldn't hurt to take a look at the show. Initially, I was so scared that it was just another teen soap that would annoy me and be a waste of my time as well. But again, I took Jerry's word and went with it. I'm so glad I made this decision. So I just so happened to flip the channel to the WB on a Sunday afternoon knowing that it was on, it was the finale of 2 being repeated and I landed on the EA mountain scene when Ephram said "You're it Amy...." I looked at the Greg/Emily chemistry with both disbelief and happiness. I simply couldn't believe how powerful they were together, the chemistry was so strong, I just knew I had never seen anything like it before. I was sold. This show blew me away instantly. I immediately got my hands on seasons 1 and 2 that very summer before season 3 took place. By the time the premiere of season 3 started I was totally caught up and ready to go.

03) Favorite season and why did you love this season so much?

Season 1, the beginning of something so wonderful... Not to mention the fact that this was the best season of TV I had ever witnessed.

04) Rank the seasons, your favorite to your least favorite:

1, 2, 4, 3

05) Favorite character and why do you like this character?

Easy one. The one and only, Amy. Adored her, flaws and all. She was perfection in her imperfection if that makes any sense. Not to mention the brilliant Emily VanCamp playing her. Amy, to me, represented realness. I found her so endearing through the good times as well as the bad. Not only is she my favorite on Everwood but my very favorite TV character of all time.

06) Least favorite character and why don't you like this character?

Madison. No matter how hard I tried (and yes, I really did try) I couldn't warm up to her. I found her absolutely annoying in season 2, especially whenever she first appeared, I strongly disliked the EM relationship. I felt it was wrong from the start for endless reasons. Madisongate was the storyline on this show that I felt was entirely unnecessary and it only caused me to dislike Madison all the more whenever realizing she lied to Andy, lied to Ephram, and simply did nothing right in this horrible storyline. I just didn't like her, period.

07) Favorite storyline of all time is:

The Ephram/Amy romance.

08) Least Favorite storyline of all time:

Madisongate. What a nightmare.

09) Favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram/Amy, because they were the most realistic couple I've ever seen. Not to mention the best chemistry I have ever witnessed between two actors in Greg and Emily. The Ephram/Amy love story was precious from the very beginning. You witnessed their bond the first moment you saw them together in the very first episode and it never wavered. They were connected and it was beautiful. The strong love and devotion they had for each other had zero limitations. It was endless and everlasting. You had a feeling they were together even when they were physically apart just because of the powerful emotional bond they had together. They were always with each other no matter what was going on in their lives. You always knew they were meant to be together from the start. Their love story was never even for one moment damaged, it remained strong and beautiful the entire way through. And we received such a perfect ending to their love story. This is my favorite TV couple of all time and I know that will never change. Just as they are "IT" for each other, they are "IT" for me as well.

10) Least favorite romantic couple/s and why:

Ephram/Madison, because they were wrong from the start. Their relationship had no business ever beginning, thus, the entire storyline from start to finish was terribly difficult to watch. Others I disliked would be Amy/Tommy, Andy/Amanda (gross), and sadly, even Bright/Hannah, who I thought should have remained friends.

11) Are you currently watching the show in rerunland?

You bet.

12) If we would have had a season 5, what storylines were you the most interested in following?

- Ephram/Amy, always my favorite pairing to watch.
- Andy/Nina engaged and preparing for their future wedding.
- Harold and Edna living under the same roof as well as watching Edna adjust to life without Irv.
- Delia maturing and watching the Andy/Delia relationship grow.

13) If you could tell the CW one thing regarding their decision not to take Everwood, what would you tell them?

You made the biggest mistake of your young and immature business by inexplicably allowing the best show you had at your fingertips slip away in favor of lower quality shows, not to mention some of these shows being way past their prime and others being just plain stupid. Have fun dealing with regret.

14) Best looking actor?

Greg Smith

15) Best looking actress?

Hmmm. Tough one. LOL That would be Emily VanCamp.

16) Are you satisfied with the Series Finale?

Absolutely, considering this was the very best series finale I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Such a beautiful ending to an outstanding, one of a kind series that I will simply never stop watching.

17) Favorite episode of all time?

The Pilot, where it all began.

18) Most talented actor?

Greg Smith, Treat Williams, and Tom Amandes were all top notch.

19) Most talented actress?

Emily VanCamp, pure brilliance.

20) If you could explain in a few sentences to someone who has never seen the show WHY they should tune in and watch, what would you say?

Everwood is the best television show I have ever seen. Touching, endearing, drama with well integrated comedy along with complex, layered characters, engaging, realistic storylines that will touch you like no other. The writing is absolutely fabulous, literally blows you away and the acting is so spectacular, at times you hardly feel like you're watching a TV show, instead, you're watching something taking place right in front of you. The depth of talent in both writing and acting is the best I've ever witnessed. It truly is a show where you care and cheer for the characters you feel you truly know and with that, you're deeply involved with their lives as a result. This show is never afraid to tackle controversial topics and somehow conclude them in a realistic and beautiful way. This show has everything you could ever want if you are interested in seeing pure magic on the screen.

Wow Michelle, that was an incredible response, and I feel so flattered that my recommendation got you started watching Everwood, because your love and passion for Everwood is what makes this message board, in my opinion, the best message board on Fan Forum. :)

Awww Jerry thanks for the amazing words. You're so sweet, thanks so much.

Most definitely it was you who encouraged me to watch Everwood probably without even realizing it. LOL I remember you would talk about it on the Creek board a bit and I asked you about it and that was enough for me to start getting interested in checking it out. :) And the rest is history. :D

I notice a big difference over season 2. Everyone is either putting second or last.

Here's what I think might be a factor as to why this pattern is taking place. Okay, as a whole, an overwhelming percentage of EW fans love EA, thus, the lack of EA combined with the EM relationship might have something to do with why people didn't prefer this season and as a result, why some put it last. As to why some put it 2nd, I believe has to do with realizing the writing and storytelling in this season was amazing and top notch coupled with adoring the performance by Emily as Amy in the depression storyline. So the EA fans could deal with the lack of EA and tolerate the EM relationship as a result.

JMO.
