I can't believe what RM bought Bale for. Dude is not worth that kind of money. He's not even close to the likes of Ronaldo and Messi.

I agree with you - Bale is not that worth it. To be honest I was sick and tired of reading speculations about him and whether he will go or not. Like seriously. OK so he is good, but damn he is not some genius.

ETA: Here is a game of our company soccer team that they played 1 or 2 weeks before. Michelle you probably could play better than them, but hey they are improving. They are some players there that actually do something and have good chemistry.

Betty, yes the Nat team is dropping like flies! I guess the good news is this latest injury is not a Donovan, Altidore, Bradley, or Dempsey so that's good. We might not miss much with the switch.

Bale is very unattractive and I know that sounds superficial but I can't stand looking at his face in general. He might want to stay away from taking pictures with Ronaldo because it will really be obvious then.

Honestly, I wouldn't want to be Bale. He is not worth that kind of money and now he has to prove that he is. How's he going to accomplish that and remain second fiddle to Ronaldo, and rightfully so?

Seriously, if you think about it, Bale is in a really tough spot. This will never be HIS team, it will always be Ronaldo's and that's never, ever changing as long as Ronaldo wears the Real Madrid jersey and like I said, rightfully so.

Thus, how is Bale going to prove he's worth all that money given these circumstances? It's a situation that he will never succeed at. Could he turn out being one of the best players to ever play for Real Madrid? Of course, but he's always going to be known as the guy who took all that money and never demonstrated that he was remotely worth that price tag.
