especially when we see Laynie in S2 and she isn't quite the same girl she is in S1.
It's no wonder that she needed anti-depressants, vodka, and peanut butter.
Her brother died and she has disfunctional parents who don't even ackowledge her existance. Plus the fact that they kept shipping her away.
I really liked Laynie. I liked her personality and I loved the way she appreciated and admired Ephram (just as I did).

I had seen this episode before. No new one this time.

First of all... I don't know what to think about Ephram's new piano teacher. He's a bit strange. But who knows, maybe he's good for Ephram and he recognized that there's something wrong between Andy and Ephram, Andy has no clue about what it is (but we get to see in the next episode). He really recognizes that it's Andy who makes Ephram tent to not want to play anymore. I didn't recognize before I have to admit. I thought it was because of the death of his mother but there have been deeper wounds.

Ephram and Laynie's date was so sweet. I love how they speak to each other and how she didn't care about Andy being in the bar as well. She simply kissed him and they looked good with each other.
But in the end, Ephram got to know he still has feelings for Amy. He didn't want it to be true but during the date with Laynie he got it. And I'm happy he has been so honest about it to Laynie. On the other side I felt so sorry for Laynie. Another disappointment for her again. She just started to become a bit happy and seemed at least for a short time to forget about home and the behavior of her parents. I'm so so sorry.

Totally forgot about the murder... Such a stupid SL! Didn't like it at all.

Nothing can prepare you for EC, dear.

Meredith is a poster that we miss.

Hey, what did you think of "Everwood Confidential", Patricia? Or is there a reason it's the episode you haven't commented on yet?

At first, I think it was just a way for a small town to get some entertainment. I never believed that Harold's ill grandfather owuld confess to a crime or remember creating a crime. It was interesting to bring some history into light that Everwood is not as perfect as it may seem being that it's built over a graveyard. But it was very comical to see Harold/Andy working together like detectives to clear Harold's grandfather's name. Overall, not a monumental episode but definitely one to take the edge off of when you consider the more dramatic episodes.

Yeah, that's a good point about having an episode to take the edge off at that point of the season. I can see that being what the writers were trying to do, I'm just not sure it worked so well. It was a little too different.
