If Everwood was revived, I would think that it would be along the lines of what the Gilmore Girls revival was, namely a limited run series, and Netflix seems conducive to that. To be sure, I’d like to see it come back as a regular series on Network Television, but I’m not sure if that would happen. Still though, if they did it for shows like Prison Break, Rosanne and the X-Files, why not Everwood?

Completely agree, Jerry. We know regardless we're not getting Chris for a large chunk of time. But the good news is Bright was a borderline main/definitely secondary character, so whatever set up they go with won't really affect Chris/Bright too much. I think you're right... it will probably be Gilmore Girls-style but like you mentioned... those other shows returned as a regular series... I know Wentworth Miller was quite busy at the time on the Superhero shows and he still found a way to make Prison Break work. Treat's schedule with Chesapeake Shores is very flexible, although I'm not sure what else he has lined up on the side. Emily has The Resident so that might be a little tricky. Not sure about Tom and Greg is into directing (working very directly with Berlanti too).

I guess we'll see. If it's meant to be, it will happen. :)

Yeah, the "Gilmore Girls" model would work pretty well. Even though Berlanti has shows on The CW, they passed on EW, which makes me think they would again. Then again, who knows. I guess we will see.

I would hope The CW realizes passing on Everwood was a foolish mistake considering all the ridiculous shows they took instead that either flopped or were horrible, lol. Dawn was canned as a result of her lame choices so maybe that will play a part.

Plus, like I said, Berlanti has a very good relationship with the network now. Back then, Berlanti didn't have the status that he does now. Now he's a hero in their minds (making them money and they know he's talented) so this could play a part.

Yeah  . Have they asked the actors (Emily, Greg, Chris. Treat, Tom) about this idea? Have you seen some comments from them?

I keep looking for present comments from the actors and haven't seen any. I wish they'd start talking, lol.

It's possible someone like Emily cannot really say anything since she stars in The Resident. Maybe she doesn't know what to say? I mean, she could say if it works out with her schedule or something. Who knows. I just want them to talk.

Totally possible  . And anyway I think that she can't agree to anything until discussing it with the Resident's creative team. At least usually it is like that.

 Precisely, so her silence does make sense.

Hi, Betty!

Twin, I hope so. Grrr. Just hearing Dawn's name again for the first time in a long time brings back a lot of not so wonderful memories.

 Right?!?!?!!? Only a true Everwood fan understands why we hate Dawn so much. Such a bad memory of her rejecting our show because she was an idiot who didn't have a clue. :irked:

I got a claw hand from writing so many letters to her during the Save Everwood campaign! Lol.

:lmao: Right!!!

Some of her decisions were off the wall and mostly political. She lost her job over it so I guess there was justice.

In looking back, I bet we were better off.

Yeah. I mean, who knows what they would of pushed on the show if it made it to The CW.

Exactly. They might have forced Berlanti to lower the quality significantly for more teen angst and soap opera storylines. No thanks.

My thoughts exactly. All the adults might of gotten pushed to the side too.
