I think she kind of taking a break from acting right now...perhaps going to school?

Very possible. I miss her on the screen. She has so much talent.

Did anybody ever see her in her other post-Everwood roles? I only know her from A Beautiful Mind, but she only had like super tiny scenes at best. She did a very good job on Everwood.

According to imdb she has stared in some show (sound like soap opera to me).

She is grown into a beautiful girl I have to say, but I haven't seen her in anything else aside Everwood.

Thanks for the new thread, Betty! :D

Matt, I also only knew her from A Beautiful Mind. How's that possible? She is a fantastic actress! No offense to the soap opera industry since there are some good actors on soaps but Vivien deserves to get a very high quality, high profile role. She is that good. I swear, she made me cry as Delia probably way more than any other actor/character did. She needs some quality work!

What about the actors who played Rose, Edna, Irv? I wonder if they're doing anything right now.

Irv's John Beasley is a series regular on the current sitcom "The Soul Man" - I watched 2 eps and he was quite good but the show nothing that I found funny, though bearable.

The reason why I post here is this picture I stumbled upon on Dallasfan.net. I go there because I watch the Dallas 2012 sequel for Julie Gonzalo. Yeah and now you will have a good laugh because guess who is on the picture with whom:

 :D Tom Amandes and Brenda Strong. Tom Amandes will also according to IMDb guest star on the upcoming show "Cult", I'm planing on watching it anyway, so that's def a plus. :) And he was on "Leverage", the yesterday cancelled "Fairly Legal" and will be in "Apartment 23" as well - season 2, episode 11, so that means we should keep our eyes open for him next year. Very nice.

Harold and Julia!! Who would have thought?!?

 That is incredible! Julia faked her death and was having an affair with Harold the entire time!

Greg Berlanti & Julie Plec To Produce CW Adaptation Of UK Show ‘Tomorrow People’

The co-creators/ executive producers of the CW‘s two top-rated series, Arrow and The Vampire Diaries, have teamed for a new project at the network — a series adaptation of the cult British 1970s sci-fi series The Tomorrow People. Arrow‘s Greg Berlanti and The Vampire Diaries‘ Julie Plec will executive produce the project, written by Phil Klemmer (Chuck). In the vein of X-Men and Heroes, Tomorrow People is the story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil.

Hm, I'd rather check out the original series than watching a remake from CW, a network I avoid. Despite Greg Berlanti being involved but I don't care for Arrow (though people are enjoying it - great for Greg!) nor his latest projects. Hope he comes up with something of the Everwood direction, meaning a small show more for critics than big viewer numbers.

Interesting, thanks for the news, Matt!

Yes, I totally agree about wanting Berlanti to create more of what he knows and does best. Small, high quality, critically acclaimed is his thing. Hopefully something is in the works.

'Chicago Fire' Books 'Everwood's' Treat Williams - The "White Collar" alum will recur on the NBC freshman drama and first appear in January.

Also Greg Berlanti's Golden Boy will premiere soon:

Quote:

"Golden Boy" to Have Special Previews on Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Tuesday, March 5 at 10:00 PM, Before Moving to its Regular Friday 9:00 PM Time Period on March 8.
And it's about:

Quote:

Golden Boy is about the meteoric rise of an ambitious cop (Theo James) who becomes the youngest police commissioner in the history of New York City. The series explores the high personal and professional cost he pays to achieve it as he is mentored by his partner, an experienced veteran detective (Chi McBride).
And it's on CBS and sounds very boring, though I like Berlanti. But maybe somebody wants to check it out.

Did anyone happen to watch Arrow? The new "hit" show of Greg at CW? I'm happy for him that the viewers like that show but won't watch it.

jediwands 12-07-2012 07:39 PM

Thanks for the news, Matt!

No, I don't personally watch Arrow and I completely agree that this new show doesn't really do it for me either. I think I'd only be interested in live shots of NYC, and that's about it. LOL

Anyone watch Arrow or is thinking about watching the new show?

ForVanAngel 12-07-2012 08:07 PM

You're welcome, Michelle. :) What interest me about those two new Berlanti shows, is if you can find typical Berlanti elements in that show.

Great point. I would hope those elements are involved in some way. I think this hope all goes back to wanting Berlanti to get to what he does best, which is creating Everwood-like shows. Why has he gone away from that?

ForVanAngel 12-08-2012 09:53 PM

Why? To try something new I guess! Everwood never was a bit rating hit (and it was on the WB), B&B got more, Eli Stone didn't get good ratings and though I would like him to do another Everwood-esque show, it's alright that he tries new stuff. It's kind of like Jason Katims reversed: He did Roswell (mystery drama) and then Parenthood, Greg did Everwood and now Arrow. And it's more money in it, if his Golden Boy is a success, it's a CBS show, he will make more money there.

jediwands 12-09-2012 03:49 PM

For sure. I just wish he would have mixed it up a bit since he's so damn good with the Everwood flavor. But yes, I understand why he's going with variety, especially when money is always a factor.

ForVanAngel 12-09-2012 04:47 PM

I hope I didn't blame Greg for going after the big dollars. I think it's just that he was young when he did Everwood and things change. There are almost no small shows like Everwood, Parenthood is one of the few that comes to mind. And if you get the chance to do something bigger, would you say I don't do it because you want to do a small show? Nah. Everwood was 10 years ago, things have changed.
