Seriously, the fun season 2 and even parts of season 3 spark Pacey had was long gone. I adored him in season 2 especially. That spark/energy he had was gone by the time the end of season 3 and on hit. The only reason for this?

No idea either. My main theory is Josh = hot so that means Pacey needed to get the IT girl. Not really caring about if the story made sense. I have talked with so many PJers who will not admit that how they came together was wrong and if they were in the same position, they would hate it.

I just know I watched Dawson's Creek and followed the story.

Oh well, people like what they like for whatever reason.

I wonder if Joshua Jackson felt frustration in later seasons due to the absence of Meredith Monroe. I say this on account of his obvious affection for her and continuing on a show that obviously went off the rails

Many people comment on the joy Pacey showed when he ran into Andie in the graduation episode. On IMDB it was said that Jousha Hackson was not acting

I am sure it was not acting. If you think about the thought he put into getting a photo, let alone wearing it. He was certainly making a statement. Good for him. Too bad it really didn't work since TPTB were still on their mission to continue making Joey the IT girl, bumping Dawson off his Creek, allowing it to turn into Joey's inherited Creek instead. Since most teen girls were drooling over Josh, Stupin wanted the buzz to continue since he was showrunner and felt like he had all the new power. He probably grinned like a fool after his "win" aka Kevin being passive enough to hand over his desired DJ/PA ending, in favor of the nightmare known as PJ for an ending.

Semi-justice was served when Kevin said PJ would have divorced. I love this fact so much. I know it was Kevin's way of saying this ending had no business taking place and he regrets it very much.
