Agreed, the book quote in season 5 makes it even better too

Honestly I loathed Lindsey and the LL crap so much while I loved hearing it... I hate how hurt Peyton is in 5.8 because bonehead Luke proposes to Lindsey and is running as usual. But yes it was a beautiful quote and I love how he rememberd the moment. Lindsey is as dumb as rocks for being with him knowing he’s forever writing about Peyton.

I hate that episode is the first we heard that quote.

Me too. Something so beautiful shouldn’t have been attached to the LL stupid stuff that was meaningless. Peyton finding out about this before they went to Vegas would have been even better... although the comet was beautiful. Still wish it wasn’t mixed in with Lindsey nonsense.

That would have been definitely a lot better.
