I think I wouldn't have had Peyton reveal her feelings before Brucas got together (or at all in S1 tbh), BP wouldn't have been best friends, no cheating occurred (BL breaks up before anything goes down), Brooke doesn't lie to Lucas about being pregnant and she never is love with him.

Interesting you said that about BP... would you wanted them friends at all or just not supposed best friends? I say supposed since Brooke didn’t even pass as a friend let alone best friend.

I definitely would have had BP being friends in S1, but BFF as the show tried to sell.

Exactly. Brooke was only going to be temporary.

In looking back... are you glad they turned her into a regular or would you have preferred she leave after her guest appearances were over?

Season 1: I hate to say it but Nathan and Haley getting married in the finale. They should have gotten married later on in the series.
Season 2: Lucas moves in with Dan in order to “try and take him down.”
Season 3: Brucas 2.0
Season 4: Psycho Derek
Season 5: Lindsey ever existing and Lucas/Lindsey lasting for far too long.
Season 6: Nanny Carrie still existing and the soap opera antics.
Season 7: Nathan Sex Scandal (thanks, Clay) and Clay/Quinn trying to be the one and only, Lucas and Peyton. Clay trying to be Lucas. Horrible season.
Season 8: Mia-Chase-Alex love triangle.
Season 9: Nate getting kidnapped was stupid but I'm going with lame Clay not realizing he had a kid. As a psychologist, the entire storyline was stupid.

I don't think they really even planned to change it after she got added to the show though.

I'm glad she stayed around, but I do think they should have added another male to the core characters though.

Honestly, the question isn't as easy for me. I know it's weird to say OTH could have been fine without Brooke but given how much I disliked her in seasons 1-4 it's safe to say I might not have cared if she left in season 1, never to return. Out of the mains, I would have cared the least about Brooke leaving. The thought of Lucas, Peyton, Nathan and Haley ever being gone is scary and just no. With Brooke for me? Not so much. LOL

That's me too... if the reason for Lucas moving in was more authentic, I would have been just fine with it. But the reason was too lame.
