I would have liked them to have gotten married in the premiere of Season 6. Have an entire season of being married and having Sawyer. They deserved that. Just to be blissfully happy. I hate that we got two seconds worth of six years of building

I would have been even tempted for them to get married in 5.12 instead of LL tbh.

Exactly!

We deserved the payoff. Not only did the fans deserve it but the story did as well. Lucas/Peyton deserved a full season of bliss given everything they had to go through to be together.

Kind of like what they did to Ephram and Amy at the end. We got a payoff, but didn't enjoy watching a season of togetherness.

Definitely. The only good news with Ephram/Amy is we never had to worry about other people like Brooke and Lindsey in the way for too long. Tommy and Madison were jokes by comparison and never a threat whereas Lucas/Peyton had to deal with long, drawn out situations with Lucas/Brooke and Lucas/Lindsey. If you think about how much damn time we spend watching Lucas/Brooke and Lucas/Lindsey... episode after episode after episode of crap... imagine taking all of those BL and LL episodes and dedicating them to Lucas/Peyton... how great would that have been? Nope, so much time wasted on crap, pointless pairings instead.

And they had a relationship! Can you imagine what it would have been if they were not together . Though I think you have mentioned that Sophia was not a Brucas fan. Maybe she played it like that on purpose.

With how horrible Lucas was to Brooke. I can't blame her for not liking that much and that's not even including the Chad factor.
